Chapter 13

-3rd P.o.v-

It was still quite late and Skylar's friend, Jackson couldn't sleep. He knew something was wrong, he knew that there was something wrong with his friend. He knew that he had anxiety but he felt like there was more to it. Lately Jackson had noticed that his friend had been a bit more depressed lately but it was soon taken away by happiness. The male let out a sigh as he ran his hand through his snow white hair, his red eyes staring at the walls of his room as he sat on the edge of his bed. "Skylar.. What are you getting yourself into?" He asked himself as he stood up and paced around his room. Jackson was beginning to get very worried for his friend. His actions were so unlike him and he was actually scared that something may go wrong. "Fuck it." He mumbled as he put on his jacket and went outside. He didn't care if it was in the middle of the night, he knew that he needed to talk to Skylar and it needed to be as soon as possible.

Jackson shoved the keys into his car and started up the engine. He then backed out of his driveway and began to head to Skylar's, not even worrying about putting on a seatbelt. Jackson's had to do this before and it normally had to do with Skylar's medicine. Sometimes it turned out to be the wrong kind and he had to get it switched or there were other times where he was just straight out emotional and he needed someone to be there for him. Jackson knew that if nobody else would be there then he had to. He knew that there has to be someone to look out for him and if his parents were no longer around to do so than who would be better than the person that he knew his whole life?

-Alexis's P.o.v. -

I couldn't sleep so I went downstairs to turn on the music but not to allowed to wake anyone up so I started to clean and started to dancing when I was cleaning the whole time I just to sing but I didn't know I was getting a little too loud on it.

-3rd P.o.v-

Once Jackson had arrived to the other's house he walked inside without even knocking. "Skylar!" He yelled as he looked around. "Shit.." He cursed as he kept the car parked and began to look around for his best friend. Soon he decided to call the other, only to not even get a response. After a while of searching he finally found the other sitting by a creek. "Fuck, you scared me. I called." He said with a sigh as he sat down by the other male. Skylar gave off a weak smile as he laughed a bit, "Sorry about that, I left my phone at home and I couldn't sleep.. So I came out here." Jackson nodded a bit as he stared at the sky, looking at the stars.

"Hey Skylar... Your medicine is working fine.. Right?" He asked as he was concerned. "Hm?" The other hummed in reply before continuing, "I guess.. It's not really much different from how the last one affected me. I just feel.. I guess empty.." He said with a small sigh. Jackson was beginning to get a bit more worried as he spoke, "Anything else?" He asked as he needed to make sure, "Not really." He replied before Jackson spoke once more, "If it's not helping you should go back to the doctor, get you something better." He said with a soft smile before he ruffled the male's hair. Skylar laughed a bit as he pushed the other's hand away and spoke, "You're always teasing me like that."
