Sickness and Thoughts

Why does this have to happen? She asked herself as she coughed. I hate life.. She thought again, sighing as she looked out her window. It was a sunny, morning out and she was missing school, sick of course. She heard chirping outside from the birds that sing every morning, in a beautiful harmony, either flying in the nice, blueish, pinkish and orangish sky above them or on the branch of the trees. She listened as she coughed into her sleeve, groaning. "I honestly hate this.." she said her thoughts out loud.
Knock knock
She heard as her attention went towards the door "come in" her raspy, horse voice said. The door opened, revealing her mother "hey, sweetie. I called in and said you're sick" her mother's soft voice said, smiling gently at her daughter. Liz smiled back at her "alright..guessing I have to stay in bed for a few days huh?" She giggled out a bit, coughing. Liz's mother only chuckled gently and sat next to her in her bed. "Yes, I made some soup for you; dad and your brother already left" she said to her daughter.
Liz nodded with a smile "where's Markoson?" She asked curiously. "Outside chasing birds!" Her mother said, giggling, causing her daughter to also giggle along. "I'll come bring your soup up in a bit, stay in bed sweetie" Liz's mother said, kissing her forehead. She walked out of her room.
A few hours went by as Liz rested and watched TV in her room. She had a dream about a boy, about to kiss him but it ended by Markoson jumping on her. Liz texted her best friend about it as she watched tv.

Liz: AND THEN!
Kastra: AND THEN WHAT?!
Liz: Markoson woke me up by his own kisses XD
Kastra: Aw damn Mark! Should've let you finally have your first kiss in a dream!
Liz: shhhhhh..I love his kisses
Kastra: but you could've XD haven't even had your first kiss either
Liz; and?! I'm waiting for the perfect guy
Kastra: yeah yeah, maybe go out with Alec hmm? Maybe he can be your first?
Liz; ew no! He's like a brother so no!
Kastra: aww, oops, gotta go! Teacher caught me xD
Liz: see ya
Kastra: see ya sista

Liz smiled and rolled her eyes, putting her phone on her coffee table. Kastra and her has been friends since they were in grade three. It's been so long for them, in grade 11 now and they already have a sisterly connect and love. She sighed happily. Her mind suddenly went to their conversation and her dream, frowning. She sneezed like a cat and groaned, laying in her side after she put her covers over her head. She wondered if she'll ever find the right guy or even the right future husband. She blushed at the thought as more and more romantic and lovely stuff came to mind.
Liz only sighed as those thoughts would only be fantasies like a fangirls fantasy of meeting her celebratory crush. She slowly starting seeing everything go black and the tv noises die down. Her eyelinds closing slowly. She fell asleep, dreaming about her mystery crush.
