our second date, was at
the mall we met at.

i wasn't sure if our last
hang out was a date, i
hoped it was.

we went to starbucks,
cliche, i know.

got hot coco as per usual,
and i got a caramel latte.

we sat at one of the higher
booths and started talking
about life, and us. what we
were. what would happen
to us, not knowing what
would happen to us.

you told me about your trip
to seoul from daegu. how
when you left your parents
home they pinched and

kissed.

your cheeks as if they would
never see you again.

you told me that you liked
spending time with me, that
you liked me. i did too, of
course you probably already
knew that.

after, we went outside in the
freezing rain and sat on a
fountain. i took out a penny
and closed my eyes, turning
around. before i could throw
it in, i felt your warm lips
against mine. i smiled,
putting the penny in my
pocket.

i already got my wish. now
i really knew that you liked

me.
