Kay’s P.O.V
I opened my eyes and took in the fresh looking white room. It smelled of pills and medicine. Pack doctor.
“KIMBERLY! YOU WOKE UP” Justin said hugging the shit out of me.
“DUDE LET GO!” I yelled at him. He was about to let go but I grabbed him and hugged him tighter.
“I love you” I told him.
“A HAHA You said it… YES! I WON!”
“Don’t be so happy… I still have a last trick up my sleeve” I told him.
“Oh no” He said and I smiled. Knowing that he knew.
“THAT IS SO NOT FAIR! YO-” David came in.
“Kay, I’m glad that you woke up… We were waiting for you for Scot’s funeral” I’m strong.
“Okay” I said with no emotion. But on the inside I was dying. I got up with Justin’s help. I looked into his brown eyes and smiled. He walked with me all the way back to my room. I got a white t-shirt that had black designs. I grabbed my white shorts and threw them on then I put on my colorful Jordans.
Scot clearly said that he didn’t want us to be wearing formal clothing at his funeral. At this a tear escaped my eyes. When he said that we all started laughing. He was so young and thinking of death.
I did my hair and me and Justin began to walk outside.
“Are you ready?” David asked us. I nodded and Justin said yes. We went to the cars and began to drive to Lighterz.
“Why are we headed to Lighterz?” Justin asked.
“Because Scot wanted us to celebrate on his death not to cry and be sorry for him. So we’re going to go get drunk before we go.” That’s not the only thing Scot wanted. We went to Lighterz and got drunk. We drove back to the funeral. Dance Again by J-lo ft. Pitbull was playing. There were stripers on either sides of his casket. We all were dancing foolishly. We were so off beat. I went to the casket.
“We’ll meet again on the other side… I will miss you until then” I started crying. I whispered sorry and turned to leave. Justin grabbed me and turned me around. We were dancing very closely.
“You should still give me those 3 hours… I mean I did promise all the guys I would win.” I looked up at him.
“Really, Justin? Really?”
“Yes Kimberly, yes”
“Shut up”
“I love you”
“I love you too” I said without thinking.
“Haha you said it again” He said getting away from me and randomly dancing. I couldn’t help but smile.
I will miss you Scot.
