It was so lovely I had to post it, I hope to be as talented a writer, one day.
♡♡♡♡♡♡Yet though she lost a cherished prize,
She could still see through teary eyes,
visions of a future love so wise,
With gentle hands to dry her eyes,
He waits to trade her heart and tries,
To soldier on and never dies,
So on moonlight walks and Sunday drives,
They'll share hopes and plan their lives,
And then one day he'll help her rise,
And find a ring that's just her size,
And know she knows,
She was always the prize
