Chapter 1

-Alaina's POV-

*beep* *beep* *beep*

"UGGH" It was the first day of my senior year at Indiana State High School.

"Alaina get up, you need to get ready for school!!" my mom shouted up the stairs at me.

I forgot to introduce my self. My name is Alaina Smith. I am 17 years old and I go to Indiana State High School (ISHS).

I rolled out of bed and decided to text my best friend Makenna.

yea im up. ugh. do we have to go to school today?

sadly. Well i have to get ready!😒 cya

I picked out my outfit which consists of light blue denim shorts with white lace pockets, a coral crop top, a black cardigan and grey vans.

I straightened my long light brown hair and put on eyeliner and mascara.

I brushed my teeth then went downstairs to eat breakfast.

My mom made me pancakes and orange juice.

" Good morning Alaina. You look nice today" my mom exclaimed.

"Morning mom. Thank you" I replied back

I sat down and took a big gulp of my orange juice. " EW!" i yelled.

"Whats wrong?!" my mom yelled back." I just brushed my teeth" I laughed.

"Hahah. Well you better finish eating you will miss your bus" my mom said.

I scarfed down my pancakes, grabbed my backpack and ran out the door.

"Bye Alaina have a good day!" I heard my mom yell.

Then i ran to my bus stop.

I got on the bus and sat next to Makenna. She was wearing black jean shorts, a blue tank top crop top, a black cardigan and blue vans. Her long ombre hair curled perfectly.

"Hey" Makenna said

"Hey. You nervous?"

"Eh just a little I guess." She responded

Then, I put my headphones in a listened to Ride by SoMo my favorite song.

The next thing I knew our bus pulled up to ISHS.

"Welcome back to the hell hole" I told Makenna

We walked through the doors and while walking to HR we saw Lucie and Maddy "The Bitch Sqwad" aka two popular girls who think the rule the school.

"Hey. You wanna hang out after school today" Maddy asked a new girl with a evil smirk on her face

The new girl looked nice. I kinow she would hate to hang out with them.

So I stepped in " No sorry she doesn't we already have plans."

"Uh get out of here Alaina. She is new. How does she already have plans?" Lucie snapped at me.

"We met this morning. You can leave now. It's obvious she doesn't want to hang out with you"

They both rolled their eyes at me and walked away.

"I'm sorry about them. They are really annoying sometimes."

"Yea. I hate them so much" Makenna added

"What's your name." I asked

"Ashley" she responded

"Hi Ashley! I'm Alaina and this is Makenna."

"What's your first class? We have Science with Mr. Noleson."

"Same!" Ashley answered

"Okay let's walk to class together!"

"Hey Alaina!" I heard behind me.

"Oh hey Shawn! What's up?"

"Wanna go to Matts beginning of the year party tonight?" Shawn asked

"Can I bring people?" I asked

"Yea! It's an open party so bring as many people as you want haha"

"Wanna go to a party? I asked Makenna and Ashley

"Sure!" They both responded

"Okay! It's a Friday anyway so yea. We will be there!" I told Shawn

"Ok. See you there!" Shawn yelled while walking down the hall
