Author's Note

Hey, the story's been kind of long and left a lot of threads unresolved (most of them are up ahead and will be addressed) but the last chapter did kind of end in a rather satisfying and happy note. I wouldn't blame anyone if they decided to give up on the series, given its length and varied quality (I am just an amateur :D)

Still, if you want to keep going, the story continues in the third book that can be found here: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/125866054-tales-of-a-ninja-magician-of-games-of-body-and-soul

The book's called TONM: Of Games of Body and Soul. I normally planned just writing all of the stories in one large book but Wattpad doesn't permit books larger than 200 chapters, which means I have to cut 'em up a little from time to time.

Hope you enjoy the next book, if you keep going, also thanks are in order if you even managed to get THIS far to see this message. I never intended for this story to break any popularity barriers or anything, so I won't be surprised if no one even sees this message. A very important reason why I'm writing this story is personal movement forward in terms of improving as a writer, even if that improvement crawls as slowly as it does for me.

Another important reason why I'm writing this story is that writing helps me vent my feelings when I'm down and struggling. It helps me deal with things I have on my mind, which may help me attempt to excuse the wild tone shifts in the story (not proud of that). The story always helped me occupy myself and my mind when I was down and I feel like I've written some of my best and favorite chapters when I was a bit gloomy.

Lately, there have been a couple of episodes where I felt especially demotivated to do anything at all and barely managed to scribble word on top of the word, in addition to my day job. To those few that follow this story faithfully, following its schedule, there may come a day in the future where I won't find it in myself to put up a chapter in time, maybe miss a day or two. Looking back, it's definitely a possibility but this story is an important part of my growth as an amateur writer and my way of coping with my emotions and putting them to some constructive use so I don't plan on giving up on the story, even if I somehow miss a date or two. Just know, that if I do, I'm really, really sorry!
