"Pass me the chips!" Adam yelled while he slowly slid down the couch, finally hitting the floor. "I. Need. Chips." He repeated.
I passed him the almost empty bowl of chips. "Your a human garbage can." I laughed.
"A man needs his chips!" He exclaimed.
Everyone laughed at that until the room become silent as we all got lost in our thoughts.
"Let's play truth or dare." Olivia said, giving all of us a daring look as she broke the silence.
"I'm down." Cole said as Ally nodded.
"Bella?" Ally asked looking expectantly at me.
"She doesn't have to if she doesn't want to, and why Truth or Dare? That's such an old game." Blake said in the corner. The first time he spoke all night, that's what he said?
I gave him a challenging look. "Really?" I glanced at Olivia and the others. "I'm in."
Olivia clapped her hands excitedly. "Blake?"
"Fine." He muttered.
We moved my coffee table and sat in a circle near the couch, and the television. I had grabbed an empty bottle from my trash can and joined them in the circle. Ally sat next to Cole as they held hands, Blake was next to Cole and Adam was on the other side of Blake. I sat next to Ally and Olivia, and Olivia was sitting next to me and Adam.
I knew right away this was going to be awkward, especially since I only met them a week ago. Adam started out and spun the bottle, it spun around the circle three times before it landed on Ally. "Truth or Dare?" Adam asked.
Ally pretended to think before she exclaimed. "Dare!"
"I dare you to kiss Cole." Adam snickered.
"Ugh, if I have to." Ally said while throwing up her hands in the air. She leaned in and they pecked each other on the lips before her giving Adam a toothy grin.
Ally spun the bottle and it landed on me. I laughed as she smirked at me. "Truth or Dare?"
"Truth."
They all got wed it response, someone muttering safe. I laughed but stick with my answer.
"Where are you from? You have an accent." Ally asked.
"I'm from Great Britain, moved here a couple of months ago."
"That's so cool! Have you met the king and queen?" Cole asked excitedly.
"No, I wish." I lied.
I spun the bottle and it landed on Blake. "Truth or Dare?"
"Truth."
"Dude! Your such a pussy!" Adam yelled, smacking Blake's arm.
"This is a stupid game, I'm not doing Dare."
Hm. What did u want to ask him? I could ask him why he's gloomy all the time but that's to personal. I'll probably just ask him a safe question.
"Blake, out of this group who would you most likely ask out." I laughed but before he could answer I clarified. "If you absolutely had to."
He huffed and shit daggers at me, shooting me a look that could send me ten feet under. "Adam." He said cooly.
Adam burst into a fit of laughter. "Dude! Bromance forever!" He yelled drawing an imaginary heart in the air.
Blake quickly spun the bottle once Adam was down laughing and it landed in Cole. The game continued to be uneventful until the bottle landed on me after 50 rounds of spinning the bottle, this was only my tenth time answering. We had long ago cracked open the liquor and you'd think I would have learned my lesson. But nope, I was slightly buzzed. "Truth or Dare Bella?" Adam asked.
"Dare." I said, feeling a sense of courage after saying truth so many times.
"I dare you...to kiss Blake." He said triumphantly, knowing how much I disliked the idea.
Blake held up his hands in anger. "Dude? Really!"
"Rules are rules, you've used all your chickens you to, time to kiss." Olivia said. Her being the official rule maker.
"I don't remember using a chicken. " Blake said.
"Too bad." Olivia said rather bluntly."Ugh fine." I leaned over and pecked Blake on the cheek and quickly retreating back to my spot. They all booed at us but Blake just gave me a weird look, something that I couldn't quit figure out. His eyes flashed before he looked away, looking at Adam and Cole.
"That wasn't the Dare!" Adam yelled.
I shrugged. "Yea it was, you said kiss Blake and I did. On the cheek."
They groaned realizing the mistake and I blushed slightly at how dumbfounded Blake still looked after I kissed him, I might even go as far to say that he might be blushing.
We finally needed the game, everyone getting sick of the repeating dares and truths. I threw the bottle away and came back to find everyone in the couch looking through the tv. "Do you guys want to stay over?" I asked.
They all nodded quickly, except for Blake who looked as bored as usual. He pulled out his phone and started to type away on it. I rolled my eyes and grabbed them all blankets and sat down next to Blake. He grunted in response and I just sneered at how rude he was before snuggling under the blankets.
We ended up watching Hercules once we finally stopped flipping through the channels. Cole and Ally where long gone as they fell asleep cuddling. Olivia was sprawled on the floor, drooling and talking in her sleep with Adam next to her imitating exactly what she did. I have a feeling those two would date one day, both weird and quirky.
Blake was sleeping next to me with his baseball cap pulled down over his face. I had an itch to pull it off of him, and to brush the strands of hair that fell in his face. Instead I settled for adjusting the cap so he could breath and I leaned on the arm rest and kept watching the movie.
"You know it's rude to touch someone's stuff without them asking." Blake mumbled, catching me off guard.
"It's also rude to wear hats indoors." I shot back to tired to care what I said.
He murmured something that I couldn't make out and took his hat off and closed his eyes. I smiled, small victory for Bella!
I grabbed a pillow off the floor and followed in their footsteps and fell fast asleep.
