Using animals as test products

    How would you feel if you were taken out of your house and forced to try terrifying products? Using animals as test products is cruel and morbid. Most of the tests performed on animals don't even show a positive result on humans. Many animals have shown that a medicine works but as soon as it is tested on a human with promising outcomes horrible things happen. Humans have died from this kind of testing after it cured an animal. Animals have died from products not working properly and killing them. A life of a test animal would be horrible.

    Most of the time a product that worked on an animal will not work on a human. %95 of drugs tested on animals will not work on a person and can have fatal results. A drug (vioxx) that was meant to treat Arthritis was testid on monkeys and turned out positive but was very unsuccessful when put to the test on humans. The drug has caused an estimated 320,000 strokes and heart attacks world wide. The drug has also caused an approximately 140,000 deaths. All of this could have been avoided if pharmaceutical scientists would have done different tests instead of coming to the short conclusion that it works. When something goes wrong on a test pharmaceutical scientists should stop the tests and change factors or ingredients in it. In this case many people that though they would get rid of the pain and annoyance of Arthritis ended up passing away or having to stay in the hospital from a terrifying experience.
