-soo jin's pov-

i spent my saturday watching dramas, eating and sleeping, until 5:30pm.

i got up from my bed and panicked, not knowing what to wear, but sighed in relief when i saw the time.

i decided to skype yeri and chaeyoung, asking them what i should wear for the date.

i showed them my mum's old wardrobe and their jaws dropped. there were many beautiful dresses that my mother used to wear.

in the end, i chose a comfortable pink and teal floral sleeveless dress. it was very cute and yeri and chaeyoung said that baekhyun would like it.

by 6:45pm, i was already showered and dressed. the next thing i needed to do was my hair, and i asked my two friends for advice.
they told me to curl my hair, and i managed to dig up a curler that my mother used before... before she passed away.

after curling my hair, i put on makeup.
i just put on a thin layer of foundation, some eyeliner and lipstick.
chaeyoung kept bugging me to put on more makeup, but i refused. i'm not a makeup person, anyway.

by the time i was done, it was already 7:15, so i decided to just wait for baekhyun. i ended the call with yeri and chaeyoung and waited for baekhyun.

i was very nervous. i kept checking the mirror to see if i looked okay or not. this would be my first time wearing a dress in front of a guy i like, and i didn't know if i looked good from a boy's perspective.

at 7:30, the doorbell rang. my palms immediately started to get sweaty and my heart began to race.

i ran down the stairs, nearly tripping and falling to my death a few times, but i survived. i cleared my throat and straightened my dress before opening the door.
when i opened it, my breath hitched.

baekhyun was dressed in a grey suit and his hair was styled up, different from his usual hairstyle - bangs down. my eyes widened when i saw him and didn't know i was staring at him until he called my name.
"um, soo jin?" he called, waving his hand in front of my face, making me snap back into reality.
"oh-uh, right, let's go," i stuttered, feeling the blood rushing to my cheeks.

"b-by the way, you look beautiful," baekhyun said, almost making me choke on my saliva. i was probably as red as a tomato already.

he opened the passenger door of his car politely and closed it gently after i got in.

he walked to the other side and got into the driver's seat, buckling his seatbelt. i stared at him in awe. handsome would be an understatement to describe him as.

baekhyun suddenly leaned over to me, breath fanning my face. i got scared and almost started sweating. turns out he was just buckling the seatbelt for me. not that i expected him to kiss me, anyway.

"safety first!" he winked, making my heart flutter and caused me to smile. he averted his eyes to the road and started the engine.

"where are we going?" i asked softly.
"it's a surprise," he replied.
"oh, okay," i replied, staring out of the window, a comforting silence took over us.

-baekhyun's pov- (a/n: finally)
woah. words can't describe how amazing soo jin looked in her dress.
i resisted the urge to kiss her the moment she opened the door.

i was then driving us to a nearby restaurant that i thought she would like. and she did!
when we reached the place, she gasped. "woah, western food! this restaurant looks expensive though," she said.

"it's not too expensive, c'mon," i told her, pulling her arm along with me after we got out from the car. i could've sworn i saw a tint of red on her cheeks and i chuckled. this girl was adorable!

-soo jin's pov-
i blushed when baekhyun pulled my arm. he turned around to face me. i hoped that he didn't see me blush but his chuckle gave it away.

we entered the restaurant and were able to find a table almost immediately.

my eyes widened when i saw the price of the food. i leaned towards baekhyun, who was seated across me.
"um, baekhyun? isn't this place a little bit too... expensive?" i whispered in his ear shyly.
"it's okay, just order what you like," he said with a sincere smile.
i nodded my head and soon, we took our orders.
when the food came, we ate comfortably and i gotta say, the food was great. and the company too, of course.

(a/n: im rly lazy to elaborate n stuff so im just gonna travel thru time HAHA)

after we were done with dinner, baekhyun told me that he planned more.
the next thing i knew, we were in his car on the way to another place.

"where are we going now?" i said. i looked out of the window and saw that we were passing by numerous large trees. probably a forest. and there were few cars. i couldn't help but to feel a little bit of fear, i've never gone out with baekhyun or anything so i had no idea how he was like. and it was around 8pm, who knows what he was planning.

baekhyun only hummed in response. i looked at him and he had a smirk on his face. i got worried. what if he's kidnapping me? what if he brings me to a cliff and pushes me off? what if— i almost started panicking but was cut off by baekhyun.

"hey, relax. i won't harm you or anything. we're just going to a special place," he said slowly.
special place? 'won't harm you'? isn't that what kidnappers say but they harm them in the end? oh no. what if baekhyun's a serial killer? nah, i'd be dead by now.

baekhyun suddenly laughed. "you should've seen your face!" he exclaimed.
i sighed, rolled my eyes but smiled. this idiot scared me for no reason.

"why don't you trust me? we're going to a place i found when i was little. i made a promise to myself that i would bring someone special here when i grew older," he explained.
"i trust you.... and i see," i replied softly.
'someone special'? so baekhyun is indirectly saying i'm special? wow. hehe. i blushed. it was probably my 10th time blushing in one day.
the things baekhyun does to me, seriously.

we reached the 'special place' within 15 minutes and baekhyun being the gentlemen he was, opened my door for me. i thanked him and took a look around the place.
"wow," i breathed out.
we were in a deserted area with a small river, and many beautiful plants.
"this place is so beautiful! how did you find it?" i asked baekhyun.
"it's amazing, i know. and that's a story for another day," he said.

story for another day? i couldn't help but feel curious. however i just nodded my head and looked around.
