i was a martyr for my dreams
i fell asleep to the beauty of my screams
midnight was my morning
and the night was my queen
and i lived my life knowing
that the rips in my heart
were deeper than the rips in my jeans
kiss kiss, goodbye
to the child deep inside
the pen of the writer
turned to cigarette and lighter
the darkest stories i told
no longer came from my typewriter
kiss kiss, goodbye
it seems too good to be paradise
my love my life
forever, in time
love, tears, surrender
my poetry was mine
my infinite mentality
spiralling into insanity
for i am a boy in this fucking world
here to reclaim my vanity
