You were contemplating a way to get Hamon back from Zane and you new your heroes couldn't beat his deck.
Y/N: I need a new deck...
You go to the school card shop and the lady smiles happily. She gave you all the Monarch cards they had in stock and you manage to create a deck.
Y/N: Now to test it.
Alexis: Hey, Y/N.
You see your girlfriend looking at the new deck.
Alexis: A new deck? Wanna test it?
Y/N: Sure.
The two of you went outside the school and got ready.
Both: Let's Duel!
Y/N: Ladies first.
Alexis: Alright. I activate Machine Angel Ritual! I discard Cyber Angel Idaten to summon Cyber Angel Natasha!
The centaur monster appears.
Alexis: And since Idaten was tributed, my Ritual monsters gain 1000 Atk!
(Natasha Atk: 1000---> 2000)
Alexis: I end my turn with a face down.
Y/N: Draw. This may work. I activate Return of the Monarchs! This card lets me add a monster with 2400 or 2800 Atk to my hand from my deck as long as it has 1000 Def. I'll add Granmarg the Rock Monarch to my hand. Now I activate the effect of Landrobe the Rock Vassal! By flipping a monster you control to face down defense mode, I can Special Summon it.
A small creature with a purple cloak and armor appears.
(Landrobe Level 4 Atk: 800)
Y/N: I now tribute Landrobe to call forth the great Granmarg the Rock Monarch!
Landrobe is replaced by a large armored being.
(Granmarg Level 6 Atk: 2400)
Y/N: Now Granmarg's effect activates! When he's normal summoned, I can destroy one set card you control. I choose Natasha!
Alexis: What?
Y/N: Granmarg, direct attack!
Alexis: Not so fast, I activate Negate Attack!
Y/N: I set a card and end my turn.
Alexis: Draw. I activate Machine Angel Absolute Ritual! I return Idaten and Natasha to my deck so I can summon Cyber Angel Vrash!
A large angelic monster appears.
(Vrash Level 10 Atk: 2800)
Alexis: I also activate my Spell card. You may recognize it. Burden of the Mighty!
Y/N: No!
(Granmarg Atk: 2400---> 1800)
Alexis: Vrash! Attack Granmarg!
The angel blasts Granmarg with light.
Y/N I activate my trap The Monarchs Awaken! I negate Granmarg's effects but he becomes unaffected by all other card effects! Returning his attack to normal.
(Granmarg Atk: 1800---> 2400)
Y/N LP: 4000---> 3600
Alexis: I end my turn.
Y/N: Draw. I activate my Return of the Monarchs! Adding Mobius the Frost Monarch to my hand. I now activate the spell, the Monarchs Stormforth! This spell lets me tribute summon using a monster you control! I tribute Vrash to summon my Mobius!
(Mobius Level 6 Atk: 2400---> 1800)
Y/N: Like Granmarg, Mobius has an effect. When he's tribute summoned, I can destroy a Spell or trap on the field. I choose Burden of the Mighty.
(Mobius Atk: 1800---> 2400)
Y/N: Mobius, attack Alexis directly!
Alexis LP: 4000---> 1600
Y/N: I end my turn with a face down.
Alexis: Draw. I summon Cyber Petite Angel. He lets me add Machine Angel Ritual to my hand. I activate it. Using Cyber Petite Angel and Cyber Angel Idaten, I ritual summon Cyber Angel Dakini! And you know Idaten's effect.
(Dakini Atk: 2800---> 3800)
Alexis: Dakini, attack Mobius!
Y/N: I activate Escalation of the True Monarchs! This lets me tribute summon during your Battle Phase. I tribute Mobius to summon Caius the Shadow Monarch!
Mobius is replaced by a dark creature.
Y/N: Caius can banish a card when he's normal summoned. I choose Dakini!
Alexis: I banish Machine Angel Ritual to negate it!
Y/N LP: 3600---> 2200
Alexis: I end my turn.
Y/N: Draw. I activate Soul Exchange! This allows me to tribute summon using your monster. I also activate Cost Down. I discard Lucius the Shadow Vassal to lower the level of all monsters in my hand by two. Now I tribute Dakini! Come forth, Ether the Heavenly Monarch!
Dakini vanishes and a large monarch on a throne appears.
(Ether Level 8 Atk: 2800)
Y/N: Ether, end this duel!
Alexis LP: 1600---> 0
Alexis: Wow. Those Monarchs are awesome.
Y/N: Yeah. I think this will help me beat Zane and get Hamon back.
Alexis: Zane took Hamon?
Y/N: Yeah. I don't know what he's planning but I'm going to stop him.
