"Let go of her," Lee Jihoon said coldly, shoving his hands into his pockets as he turned the corner, showing his appearance, eyes on the ground.

Snickering could be heard as Jeon Dayun challenged, "Lee Jihoon. You again. What do you want this time? To be a hero?" he laughed before breaking into a smirk.

Lee Jihoon ignored Jeon Dayun, instead he simply walked past him as if he was air. Jeon Dayun clenched his fists while Lee Jihoon walked up to Jeon Dayun's minions, glaring at them. Unwillingly, they pushed the girl away.

Before she stumbled and "hug" the ground, Lee Jihoon caught her in his arms. He looked at the girl, a tinge of pain hided behind the coldness in his eyes. They locked gaze, but it was obviously not the right time for any romantic lines. So he grabbed her wheelchair not far away and let her sit onto it.

He pushed her out of the alley and made sure they were out of sight before he let the wind take his tears away.

"Jihoon..." she mumbled. She knew he was crying.

"Shut up," he snapped unintentionally, one hand going up to wipe his tears away. "Just-" he sighed. "Nevermind."

Pushing the door to his house open roughly, he pushed her in before shutting the door again.

"Jihoon-ah? You're home?"

At his mother's words, he simply nodded and let go of the wheelchair. Then, he tugged at his tie and pulled it out, heading to his room.

"Ah... [Y/N], you're here too," Jihoon's mother greeted her and she nodded with a polite smile.

"Don't be afraid and take this as your home like usual, [Y/N]-ah," said Jihoon's mother kindly. "Go and find Jihoon; I'd call the both of you when dinner is ready."

She tried to bow before pushing herself to Jihoon's room shortly after she took off her white shoes while Jihoon's mother headed off to the kitchen.

She gave a few soft knocks on the door. When she received a "Come in!" from Jihoon, she went in.

"Jihoon..."

He took a glance at her and looked away, gulping in the process even though it's just his name. She was going to ask him the question, and he knew. "I-I'm going to change in the bathroom, just wait here. I'd be out quickly," he stammered and escaped to the bathroom.

Rushing into the bathroom, he slammed the door shut and pushed himself against the door. Groaning in frustration, he pushed his hair backwards then buried his face into his hands. So stupid, so stupid! Why can't he control his feelings? Why did he help in the end? Why did he bring her home? Why? Why? Why?
