A Love Worth Fighting For

Chapter 6

I wake up to see Kat, sitting in the chair by the corner. "Kat?" I asked weakly.

"Ari! omg you are awake?!" She yelled hugging me.

I smiled and pulled away, looking down at my arms..."I'm sorry, I couldn't do it anymore." I tired to explain but she stopped me.

"Hey, hey, hey. No is okay. Its not me you have to apologize to me"She whispered. I gave her a confused look and she pointed towards the door, and sighs. "It's Adam. He's been beating himself up about it, Dravon got him to go with him to a deal today after arguing all night and all morning. They'll be back in a few." Just as she said that Dravon walked in pulling a blood covered Adam. I held my hands over my mouth as  I saw the blood oozing out of his abdomen.

"Go to him. Help him" Kat whispered in my ear as Dravon led him to the bathroom and hugged me. 

Dravon looked down at me and smiles "Glad your awake Ari but he needs you right now more then ever. Okay?" I nodded and got up walking into the bathroom, closing the door behind me. 

"Go away Katia. I don't need your fucking help." He spat not looking up. I placed my hand on his back and heard him growl as he spun around "I don't need your help KAT-" He stopped when he saw me and froze. "Ari.. I I'm sorry I didn't. " 

I cut him off by sitting on the counter top and start to pull on his shirt. Saying nothing as I take it off and inspect the damage. 

"Baby girl look at me." He said as I looked at him, "Say something please anything." I shook my head and got the towel wet, slowly wiping at his abs. After awhile I got a thin cloth and some gauze and wrapped his lower abdomen carefully. I got up and stumbled, falling into his arms. "You falling for me yet?"

I giggled a bit and his smile brighten as he picked me up bridal style and carried me to the bed. He played me down and crawled into of me, slowly, like a predator hunting it's prey. Adam slowly lifted my shirt off of my and planted light kisses on my stomach from my belly button to the valley between my breast and as he did so he utter the words that i truly believed from him. "You." Kiss. "Are." Kiss. "So." Kiss. "Fucking." Kiss. "Beautiful." And as he said the word beautiful and leaned closer and lightly planted his lips on mine as if I was glass, many to break at any moment.

It was at first almost as if he hadn't wanted to kiss me. His mouth was hard on mine, unyielding; then he put both arms around me and pulled my body against his. His lips softened. I could feel the rapid beat of his heart, taste the sweetness of strawberries still on his mouth. My heart was hammering, evoking from me sensations I  had never known i was capable of feeling and there was a rushing sound in my ears, like beating wings And then  i knew that I was kissing him back.

Running my hands through his hair, tugging here and there making him moan in happiness. He flipped us so I was on top, I giggled as my bare stomach touched his, his hands roaming my back and his lips on mine. Nothing steamy just sweet and natural. Adam pinched my ass and I squealed, my legs tightening around him. He hissed in Pain and I shot up,  off of him, startled. 

"Hey Baby girl it's okay. I'm okay"He took me in his arms and sighed. "Lets change okay?". I nodded and pulled him to the closet and told him to pick.

"AWE you guys are matching." Kat squealed.

Dravon murdered "whipped"

And I giggled making eye contact with kat.  She gasped looking at my kisses swollen lips. Kat takes my hand and let's me to the kitchen. "He kissed you?!!!!" I nodded and looked down as she hugged.me tight. "Omg I'm so happy for you!!!!"

 We wandered back into the living room where Dravon was rounding up their stuff. "Ready?" He asked, Kat nodded and hugged me one more, before taking the bags from Dravon so he can hug me. "You will be just fine here Ari. He will take care of you. Right now.you are his world. Nothing can compete.  He got shot today because the guy threatened you. He took a bullet to make sure he couldn't give out orders to harm you." Dravon whispered in my ears while he hugged me.  He pulled away and bro hugged Adam before they went to their car.

I slowly turned and looked at Adam who stood behind me. "You took a bullet for my life?" 

He nodded and pulled me close, "I'd do anything for you" 

Adams pov)))) 

I admitted my feelings basically today, and now as I doze off all I see is her. 

"Ari get up we need to put pjs on" She rolled over and lifted her arms up. I smiled and carried her to the bedroom. 

She disappeared into the closet while u changed into a white t-shirt and the new bottoms that Kat and Dravon got me. Shortly after, Ari comes out in the same thing, I smile and hug her. "Beautiful "

She giggled and crawled into bed, patting the space next to her. "Lay with me"  and so I did. Rubbing her back as I  hummed a song in her ear. Her little arms tightened around me. As she kissed my nose she looks me in the eyes whispering so quietly in not sure if I even understood it. "I love You".

"I love You too" I whisper as her breathing settled and she entered sleep.

It's a shortish chapter but hey I updated. It was kind of more like a filler chapter but hey a first kiss?!. How'd ypu guys like it?
