Time Travel Chronicles

Author Notes

This story and the ones that follow are excerpts from a much larger series that I’ve written. It takes place in the future when humans go out to contact aliens. By this time in the storyline humans have acquired all sorts of technology, most of it stolen from more intelligent alien species. As a matter of fact, humanity is drastically changed because of alien contact. I originally intended this to be a satire on the human condition, but it has since grown into an unmitigated monster and involves time travel, space battles, alien contact, super hero battles and supernatural craziness. Some might compare it to a video game scenario, especially in the battle segments, or in the case of this episode, an adventure game.

This series deals with time travel. Other series will involve demons, dreamscapes and the spirit world to name a few.

Most of it is unedited, so it’ll take me some time to upload.

The main characters and terms are as follows: (Please read carefully, otherwise the story won’t make sense)

Angelina (Angie) Sarasota is a Mexican peasant girl who rises from indentured slavery to become the wealthiest and most powerful woman in the universe. She runs Space Command, (which evolved from NASA) an organization of millions (and eventually billions) of humans and aliens (they are her slaves, but she often refers to them as her children) dedicated to making peace in the universe by assimilation and enslavement. She possesses nascent (emerging from assimilation and alien abduction) super powers, including tele-transportation, mind communication (conversation in italics are through distant mind meld), shape shifting, cloning, matter creation, astral projection, flying in space at many times light speed, and absolute control over matter, energy, time and life. She suffers from bipolar mental disease, which results in erratic behavior. She is also First Council, the titular head of the Galactic Council, the true power of the Galactic Union, an organization of intelligent species from all over the universe.

Galactic Union headquarters resides on the Roswell alien (yes, these are the aliens that crashed near Roswell, Arizona in 1947) home world. Rosie (her real name is impossible to pronounce) is a reagent and chairperson of the Galactic Council. Humans often describe Roswell aliens as looking like bug-eyed petite cadavers. They once were at war with humans, but the war was settled when Roswell females took over rule from males. As a matter of fact, females run the Galactic Union.

Martin (Marty) Sinclair is her henpecked husband (or consort) and admiral of her fleet. He also has nascent super powers, but at this point in time he’s not yet aware of them. He grew up on a farm in Iowa. Angie and he attended the Air Force Academy. He flew a F22 Raptor in combat, obtaining the rank of Lieutenant Coronel. She commanded a B2 bomber wing with the rank of Coronel. Both served in the Middle East and African wars. Both joined NASA as astronauts. After leaving NASA she joined the Space Consortium, a group of seventeen companies that created the first space plane and, ultimately, the first space ship able to explore beyond the solar system. She rescued Marty from oblivion after he was drummed out of NASA and forced him to join her as a Space Consortium test pilot. They married before the Cyborg Captivity and have two children (twins), Samantha and Thomas, born after the Captivity.
