Nosai looked over at Marty. "I have detected a vessel on long range scans, sir." 

"What is its configuration?" 

"Unknown. There is no match in our database." 

"What's your opinion, Delphi?" 

"I believe that this is a new pseudo-human species aligned with the Mysterious aliens." 

Did you get that, Angie? 

Yes. 

What do you want us to do? 

Find their home world, dear. 

Yes, ma'am. 

Take us to a parallel course with the vessel, Delphi. We have to determine the location of their home world." 

"Yes, Martin." 

"I have detected a second vessel, sir," Nosai said. "It is on intercept with the first vessel." 

"What is its configuration?" 

"Mysterious." 

"Very good, Delphi. Your belief was right on the money." 

"Thank you, Martin." 

"Now, if we could only find their home world." 

"I believe it is on the other side of this galaxy, Martin. I will have the precise location as soon as they jump." 

"Very good Delphi." 

Later: 

“What is the status of the two ships, Delphi?” 

“The two ships will intercept in three hours and forty-two minutes, Martin.” 

“Keep us informed of any change, Delphi.” 

“I will, Martin.” 

After the three hours and forty-two minutes: "We are now in normal space, Martin." 

“Put us in full cloak, Delphi.” 

“Yes, Martin.” 

“The ship is on course for the third planet,” Nosai said. 

“The third planet has an atmosphere that exhibits oxygen and water vapor in its spectra,” Gem-Avo said. “The average bolometric temperature is 289 K.” 

“I am not detecting any organized signals from the third planet,” Shi-Tat said. 

“That’s probably not the Mysterious alien home world,” Marty said. “However, the aliens that live there are in cahoots with the Mysterious aliens.” 

“We are not familiar with that term,” Shi-Tat said. 

“I’m sorry,” Marty said. “I mean that they are working with each other.” 

“I am not detecting any Mysterious vessels in this system,” Shi-Tat said.

“That’s a good thing. Hopefully, we will have time to investigate these aliens before we have to deal with any attacks.” 

“What are we going to do when we get to the planet?” Nosai asked. 

“Wait for orders,” Marty said. 

They understood that.

Meagan took helm control and began her attack on the Mysterious alien craft. Shi-Vat had control of the guns and To-To-Tat was manning (or is it womanning) the navigation station.
