I woke up the next morning, I was covered in my quilted blanket, my head was on my pillow.... Was last night a dream? Maybe I'll continue sleeping in my room in the house if I'm gonna have dreams like this... I sat up, my hair was a mess. Rocky was laying at the foot of my bed. I groaned and layed back down, it was summer and today was Saturday. Did Zeke work today? Wait wasn't I supposed to call him? That's right..... It was a dream dumbass. When I stood up, I noticed Henry laying on the ground right beside my bed. It wasn't a dream. I grabbed the polaroid that I had and took a picture of him, not because I wanted one, just to be a jerk to him, blackmail maybe?.... It printed and I hid the picture in one of my books.

I brushed my hair and changed clothes since he was asleep. I put a mint in my mouth to make sure my breath didn't stink. Then I looked over at him, still asleep.

"Wake up!" I yelled obnoxiously, his eyes opened and he looked around.

"What the fuck?" He muttered with a morning voice. He looked around and then looked at me for a moment. He almost sat up, but he just plopped back on the ground groaning. He closed his eyes again.

"What time is it?" He groaned.

"8." I answered.

"Why do I have to wake up now?" He asked.

"Cause, I'm sure your dad will be awake soon, so I can get rid of you."

"Ugh." He groaned.

"How long have you been awake?" He asked his eyes popping open again.

"Like 5 minutes." I answered.

"You wake up looking like that? Damn."

"No," I laughed, "but it doesn't take that long to get ready." I told him. I picked up the phone that was hooked up in the shed and called Zeke.

"Hello?" Zeke answered.

"Hey," I replied.

"Harper? Why the fuc-dge, why the fudge didn't you call me last night?" He demanded. I'm guessing his parents were in the room.

"Sorry, I fell asleep." I told him. "You can chill out..."

"I left you alone with Bowers, I was freaking out all of last night."

"I'm fine. Okay? I promise."

"Okay..." He said taking a breath, "What is your shift on Monday?"

"Uhhhh, pfft. Lemme check." I told him setting the phone down. I crawled onto my bed and looked at my schedule, it was right beside my calender.

"7 to 5." I told him. "You?"

"8 to 7, working over time."

"Kay, sounds good." I said.

"Talk to you later." He said hanging up the phone. I put the phone back in it's place and Henry was sitting on my workbench looking at me with an amused smile.

"Was Zack worried about you?" He said in a mocking voice.

"Zeke," I corrected bluntly.

"Same thing." He muttered.

"I'm gonna go to the house and see if they're awake." I stated, he got off my workbench and came over to me.

"I can go alone." I said, he shrugged and we walked up to the house. When I walked in, our dads were awake and watching the news.

"So far this week, 7 children have gone missing without as much as a trace. Police working hard to find them." A news reporter stated.

"Do you work today?" My dad asked me.
