Henry's P.O.V

I got in the car and drove to the hospital. My mind was swirling, but when I arrived. I ran into the doors and up to her room.

"Harper, I'm he-" I started, the room was empty.

"No," I muttered to myself. I ran to the desk almost trampling a 5 year old.

"Where is Harper?" I asked.

"Harper?" The woman asked.

"H-Harper Rohds."

"Oh yes! She was moved to room 94," She said sweetly. I walked to her room, she had an IV hooked up to her arm and a book in her hands, huge shocker. (Sarcasm) Her eyes never leaving the book.

"Harper," I whispered with a small smile.

She looked up at me and smiled brightly, I ran towards her and wrapped my arms around her. I felt tears of happiness falling from my eyes.

"A-Are you crying?" She asked.

"No, it's hot in here. My eyes are sweating," I told her, she snorted, which caused us to both laugh.

"I can leave," She told me.

"When?" I asked.

"Now, they just put the IV in so that I didn't get dehydrated or something," She told me, as if on cue, a doctor walked in.

"We have release papers, you are going to have to sign them," The doctor told me, I nodded and he left. I sat next to Harper and we filled out the papers together.

"How's Zeke?" She asked, I stopped writing and stared at the floor.

"H-Hen-Henry?" She asked.

"He's.... not al-alive," I told her.

"What?" She asked in shock, "What the fuck do you mean not alive?"

"It's a long story, I'll explain when we leave," I told her softly.

"No tell me now!" She yelled.

"Pennywise took him," I told her.

"I thought he was dead?!" She said shaking in fear. I got into the hospital bed with her and wrapped an arm around her, kissing her neck softly.

"He won't be back for a long time, and when he is back, he can't bother us," I told her.

"How do you know it was, It?" She asked her voice was cracking and the tears spilled down her face. I can't tell her, I can make something up, I'm the only one who knows the real story.... So if I lie nothing can go wrong, right?

"Well, he went missing... I had a feeling that Pennywise could've been the one to take him, so I went down to Neibolt Street. When I got there, Pennywise had already ripped his head off..... I was too late, if I would've been there just a little sooner I might have been able to save him, but before I left Pennywise said that Zeke was his last meal for the next 27 years..." I lied.

She burst into tears, her body was much smaller. She lost a lot of weight while she was here, she wasn't fat before, but she was kind of underweight now.

"Come on, I'm going to finish these papers, then we'll leave," I told her.

"Has someone been feeding Rocky?" She asked her voice was strained.

"I fed him when I went down there, yes," I said kissing her cheek. "You have nothing to worry about."

I brought her back to the shed, she hadn't said a word to me. She stared out the window blankly no matter what I did. As soon as we got to her property, she got out of the car and walked very slowly. I walked beside her and held her hand, but her hand felt limp.

"Do you want me to stay with you tonight?" I asked her. She didn't respond, she kept her eyes straight ahead, no emotion in her eyes. Her eyes were red and puffy, her cheeks stained with tears.

"Come on, baby, talk to me," I said softly. After we got into the shed, she settled on her bed and I turned the TV on, I'm sure we could watch a movie that wasn't sad or anything like that. Something animated and meant for little kids, hopefully it will make her happy. The moment I turned the TV on, the news played. A picture of Zeke in the corner beside the reporter.

"Boy found mutilated on Neibolt Street, the boy, Zeke Uris. Police are trying to find the-" The reporter continued, but I immediately clicked the TV off.

"You didn't need to hear that," I said softly.

"No!" She screamed at the top of her lungs startling me, "No!"

It was high pitched, Rocky came barreling in at the sound of danger. He jumped in front of her snarling angrily, he was warning anything nearby to stay away from his person.

He was protecting her, he didn't know what from yet, but he wasn't going to let me near her.

"Rocky, it's me, remember? I'm not going to hurt her," I said gently trying to calm the dog.

"No!" Harper screamed again, she grabbed one of her machetes with tears streaming down her face and ran outside. Rocky right behind her. I followed behind, she slammed the machete into a nearby tree with such force it got stuck deep within the thick tree.

"Rocky, go away, I'm fine," She commanded him with tears in her eyes, Rocky backed away a few feet and sat down. He kept his ears perked and stayed nearby. She tried to yank the machete out of the tree, but it was no use. She attempted to yank it out again accidentally grabbing the blade. When she yanked back, her hand split open and blood dripped from her hand. It didn't look serious, but it was bleeding heavily. She continued trying to yank it out and her hands continued to get cut. I grabbed her from behind and roughly yanked her away from the machete. She fought, but I wrestled her to the ground and forcefully held her down. She continued screaming and Rocky sunk his teeth into my arm, it kind of looked like I was attacking her.

"You fuckin' dog!" I shouted prying his mouth off my arm. I had a leg on either side of her stomach and had to basically sit on her stomach to keep her from standing up and hurting herself worse. I finally got Rocky off of me and he growled trying to bite me again.

"I'm helping her!" I shouted at the dog, he stopped fighting me and went to lick the blood from her hands.

She immediately stopped screaming and the tears continued flooding down her face. She stared at Rocky, watching him. She cried, but more silent.

I sat on top of her stomach still, not all of my weight pushing down on her, but just enough to hold her down.

"Harper?" I asked softly, she ignored me.

"Harper," I said more firmly. She still ignored me.

"Harper!" I growled nearly shouting, she still ignored me.

"Oh my god," I muttered to myself. I put an arm under her knees and carried her bridal style with Rocky prancing beside me. I carried her to the shed, thunder began to roar very loudly. Lightning cracked through the sky, I laid her down on her bed and put a towel under her bleeding hands. I walked to the bathroom and got a warm, wet rag to clean her hands and wrap a bandage around them. I threw the towel in the hamper and turned the TV to the weather channel.

"Tornado watch in Derry Maine, please be prepared to take shelter," The reporter repeated.

Rocky curled up at the bottom of the bed, Harper stared at the ceiling with a blank expression, her tear streaks noticeable. Her eyes were red and puffy. I got a new rag and gently cleaned her face off from dirt, blood, and tears. She must have wiped her bloody hands on her face at some point. I threw that rag into a hamper and curled up beside her. I stared at her, but her eyes were focused on the ceiling. I talked gently to her, hoping she would say something.

"I love you, you know that right? I don't know what I'd without yo-" I started but was interupted by the TV reporter yelling in a firm voice.

"A tornado is coming through Derry Maine, take shelter immediate-" The reporter commanded before my entire world went black.

heyyyyy it's here!
