I didn't quite imagine Myst's camp would've been all that nice, but in comparison to what I had imagined it to be, it was an absolute wreck. I felt like I had been previously spoiled with my last camp; I had everything I needed there. Damn wolves. Oh well, I guess this is the price to pay for a companion. I guess if I were drunk enough this camp would look decent. The big man started to show me around; pointing out where he kept his food, supplies, all the basics.

"I'll show you around the forest later, but we need to rest" he said, his voice soft, and quiet. As if he didn't want to attract an animal, or zombie. I chuckled softly, smirking a bit,

"You do know that you need a fire, right? To keep animals away.. So your camp doesn't wind up like mine"
"I'm getting there..." he said in a grumble.

He wasn't getting there. I could tell by the tone of his cute little liar voice that he wasn't about to build a fire. This idiot is trying to get himself killed, I swear to god.

"Do you have a death wish? I know you weren't about to build a fire. You were expecting me to allow our camp to get infested with wolves, or something worse, weren't you?"
"Our camp? I believe this is my camp. Please don't make that mistake, Mike"

I was stunned at how badly he had butchered my name. I squinted my eyes at him and raised my upper lip in confusion, and disgust.

"Did you just call me Mike..? How did you.. even.. get Mike..?" I asked, I was horribly confused in regards to how he even came up with Mike. Where's the S? Or the L? And where did the K even come from? I mean, at least he got the M right.. Does he even care enough to remember my name? I'm starting to wonder why I'm even here.. Why did I even think this was a good idea? I was beginning to believe that being alone was much better that company. After a moment, I shook my head and decided that I was just being dramatic.

"Oh.. shit.. Uh.. what was your name again? I could've sworn it was Mike..."
"I'm curious as to what your other guesses are" I said, deciding to just take it as an opportunity to laugh at his forgetful mind.
"Michael?"
"No"
"Mitchell?"
"No"
"Mikhail?"
"No"
"Uh... Matt?"
"Yeah!"
"See, I told you I'd remem-"
"No, I'm just fucking with you, that's wrong too"
"What the fuck!! What's your fucking name?!"

I felt my chest tighten before a burst of laughter escaped my throat.  It was becoming absolutely hilarious to see Myst so frustrated about not remembering my name.

"I don't know,  Myst. How about you tell me, Myst. I'm not sure why you don't remember my name, Myst... That's very rude of you, Myst" I was repeating his name to irritate him further; since I could remember his name, and all. It was nice to watch him struggle. Yes, eventually, I'll give him my name again if he genuinely cant remember, but its very fun to tease him. It was probably the funniest thing I've witnessed in a long time, the look my Myst's face. He was horribly too easy to read, you could see his emotions from a mile away. He looked scared, probably because he's thinking that he's offended me. Panic was an expression I could see in his eyes, and he was deep in thought, trying to remember what I had told him not even twenty minutes ago when we introduced ourselves.

"I'm really bad at remembering names, okay! Can..  you please.. tell me your name again..?"
"Well... Since you asked oh so nicely, sure. I'd love to give you my name. It's M- Oh! I'm getting a headache!!! Right where you had assaulted me earlier!!"

I decided to have a little more fun; it was very obvious that i was in no pain, due to the tone of my very dramatic voice. I could tell he was very sick of me by now, and I was wondering how long it would take for him to abandon me, or kick me out of his camp. Though, I couldn't see Myst doing either. He was grossly nice, he seemed a little too selfless to do that. Disgusting. I looked up to see him practically tearing his hair out and holding his tongue. I took in his facial expression so I'd remember that dumb, cut pout forever.

"It's Miles" I finally said, giving into his fussing. Myst sighed with relief once he finally heard my name. It seemed like a weight had been lifted off of his shoulders.

I decided to build a fire, since the dummy seemed incapable. I pulled a book of matches out of my jacket pocket, and built a fire pit so the whole camp wouldn't catch fire. It didn't take long before the fire was quietly crackling and producing plenty of heat. I had a preference to heat, over cold. But again, temperature changes don't affect me. I looked over to Myst, who must've been cold because he hurried close to the fire and stuck his hands near the flames.

"Cold?" I asked, tilting my head in his direction in question
"Yes.. It's fall.. Of course I'm cold.. Are you not? I'd think it would make you colder out here since your.. whatever you are.."
"Nymph-Angel-Zombie hybrid.." I mumbled, a little embarrassed about what I was.
"Jesus, what the hell kind of failed science experiment are you"

I shot a glare at Myst, unable to believe what I had just heard. How rude could somebody be to another person they had just met. I crossed my arms and looked back at the fire, deciding to keep my mouth shut to prevent a fight. However I felt some of my roses begin to bloom in my hair and around my ears, knowing I was upset. Though, I knew that Myst didn't know what my roses meant, or what they were for; besides physical wounds. I don't expect him to put the pieces together himself, he's not the smartest.

I decided that I was tired, and that I should find a place to sleep that was away from Myst.

"Where do I sleep?" I asked, my voice was soft and I was clearly a little annoyed. Myst, being too stupid to read body language, pointed over to a little area beside of a single sleeping bag.

"You can have the sleeping bag if you'd like.. I only have the one" he said in a quiet voice, looking up at me with a little smile that seemed apologetic. I couldn't imagine him realizing that he had upset me in some way, so I wasn't sure why he seemed so apologetic. I shook my head at his offer,

"No.. that's fine. I'll be fine" I said quietly, looking away from him and walking over to where we were supposed to sleep. I didn't want to sleep so close to him, or on the ground. But I knew I'd make due. After all, this was the price for companionship This was my decision. I may as well stick with it.

I kneeled down onto my knees, and quickly laid down with my back faced away from Myst's sleeping bag. I wanted to feel alone at the very minimum, despite not being alone. I opened my eyes and looked over to the male who had called me a failed science experiment. I didn't think he was able to think on his toes like that. Was he smarter than I thought? I mean, I couldn't imagine him being very smart.. But anything's possible, right? It didn't take too long before I heard the big male walking over to his sleeping bag, which was only a couple feet away from me. I felt a bit tense with him laying so close, but I imagine he was under the covers.
After awhile, I eventually drifted off to sleep, dreaming of nothing. I wonder what Myst dreams about.... Or if he dreams at all.
