I sat at the chair in front of the principal's desk and stare at the principal. My arms crossed against my chest and my legs crossed.
"That's not how rebels sit," The principal says at seeing what I'm trying to do.
"Oh, what am I missing?"
"Lower your body."
"Oh. Yeah. Right."
The chair feels more taller by the time my body slips down and sits on there. The principal sighs and looks up at me.
"Holmes," he says. "To be honest, you have done nothing bad. You study, got the best grades, and you never get into fights. So, here's what we will do: I will let you out," He starts and I smile but he hushes me before I can say anything and tells me to pay attention. "but promise to not act happy."
"Yes, sir!" I say while standing up and putting my backpack over my shoulder and walking away. He smiles with his lips and keeps going through the pages he has on his desk but stops at one that has blood drops at the tip of the paper. He removes the other pages and reveals that entire paper has blood over it and says 'You sick slut' so he gasps but Betty appears behind him with a rotten cheek and the greenest most creepy eyes as she puts a plastic bag over the principal's head and pulls backward. The principal grabs the hem of the bag with both hands and pulls from it but is not enough.
His legs slide forward and backward but he is struggling and fighting. Betty pulls more backward and now he's shaking and coughing.
His hands stop moving and they fall to the sides of his body.
She stares down at his face and disappears meanwhile his eyes are staring at the ceiling.
"So he let you go? Just like that?" Osha asks me as we walk past a park and the sky is gray and everything is cold by the strong breeze.
"Yeah!" I smile.
"You lucky bitch."
"Who are you calling bitch? You bitch!"
"Motherfuck--"
She pats me on the chest and I laugh out loud uncontrollably putting my head on her chest as she laughs.
When we stand on the hot dog car at the end of the park's Gates, Serena is standing there buying a hot dog and wearing her creamy coat with her black glasses and her red hair is long. She looks at our direction and gasps with a smile waving at us.
We wave back with our eyebrows lifted and then lower our hands.
"How come she always have money?" I say.
"She's a red head." Osha confirms and I have to cover my mouth and hide my laughter.
Serana walks up to us and stands in front of us. "Hey girls! How are you?" She asks.
"More skinnier than you. Thanks." Osha said.
"Ha- ha. Very funny." She said without grace in her voice and took a bite of her hot dog.
"Well now that the Pathetic Losers are reunited, Game of Thrones on my house!"
"Yeah!" Serena and Osha yell with me as we have our fists up and they walk away with me dancing behind them like a crazy moving my hips forward and backward like if suddenly I were a male dog hitting on a female dog.
Serena did a sleepover so now she was sleeping beside Osha on the bed of my room with me. The night was so calm yet I couldn't sleep. My eyes wouldn't close. And taking out calculations and explanations... there was no reason to the why.
