CHAPTER SIX

*Vlad's POV*

We're sitting on a bench here at the park. My practice was just done and I decided to rest here for a while.

"Lots of cute couples, right?" I asked.

"They're not cute."

I chuckled. She really is weird. Haha.

"Whatever. This is one of the best place to confess to a girl. Especially during sunrise or sunset where the sun can be seen so clearly. That's so romantic, don't you think?"

"I bet you're girlfriend thinks so."

"Don't have one."

"No wayyy"

"Yes way"

"You look like that guy in class who easily gets every girl."

wow. she's on the mood for talking ^o^ im so lucky

"Well, I had a girlfriend before but that was way back in 10th grade. And she's a bitch anyway." ugh. Why am I even talking about my past?! -___-

She just nodded.

"So tell me about yourself." I said.

"Nothing I'm willing to tell you." She shrugged.

I can see a glimpse of sadness in her tone and eyes.

*sigh* She seems so lonely and empty. I want to make her life so bright and beautiful and I just want to protect her. I don't know. She seems so fragile and I have this sudden urge to protect her. Ugh. Im thinking bullsht -.-

Why are you so special to me even if  I barely  knew you?

I whispered to myself.

She faced me. Her angelic face met my gaze.

"Ya saying something?" She asked.

I raised an eyebrow. "Nothing." I replied, playing innocent.

She checked her clock, stood then turned around and started to walk.

Not even saying goodbye. Tsk Tsk What kind of manners? -_-

I ran after her.

"Doesn't even bother to even say 'goodbye', huh?" I teased.

She just rolled her eyes. We walked in complete silence.

Awkwaaaaaaard

When we reached her home, she finally bid goodbye this time then I walked home. Our houses are only two blocks away.

"Goodevening!" I chirped as I enter the house.

"Hi Vlad!" The twins beamed in chorus. I kissed them both on their cheeks.

Valerie, on the other hand, well, she doesn't really care.

"Hey mom. What do we have for dinner?" I asked.

"Roasted chicken and chicken noodle soup." She happily replied.

"You don't really love chicken, do ya?" I teasingly asked.

She just chuckled.

"Hey loverboy." Leonardo appeared out of nowhere. haha.

I raised my eyebrow.

"Saw you with yer girl on the park." he smirked while taking a sip of his juice, keeping his eyes on me.

wait.

WHERE DID HE GET THAT JUICE?!

oh well . why do i have to worry?

"Ena's NOT my girl. Geez."

"Really?" he said with an 'i-dont-believe-you' tone.

"Very well then." He added then disappeared through the shadows. just kidding. He headed upstairs.

As I turn around, all eyes was on me. o.o

"You have a girlfriend?" *o* Mom, dad, twins, Valerie, Auntie and Uncle asked in chorus. Their eyes sparkling.

"NO!" I replied immediately.

**phone call**

Me: I want you to research about Athena from Penssylvania's University. (sorry for my lack of imagination)

Friend: uhh, no last name?

Me: No.

Friend: That's hard.

Me: Just do it, kay?

Friend: Okay -_-

*end of phone call*

This will be fun. I smirked.
