2 Side of One Coin

Chapter 2

I wake up in a dark room with a flashing light over the bed that I'm in. I try to calm down but my breathing was getting harder, because the air here was way more dense.

A shadow like figure stood up in a dark corner of the room and said, "Hello, Lukas it's been a while" his voice was very raspy.

It slowly walked towards me and coughed. It continues to cough and then spoke again.

"Luke I am your father" said the figure in a voice that sounded like an 80's game show host.

I facepalmed right after it was done talking, and looked at it as it stepped into the light. He had a hat which said, "#1 Dad" and he wore overalls over a plaid shirt.

He walked up to me and tried to give me a hug, in which I refused.

He looked at me with his big red eyes and said, "But I'm your father"

I suddenly realize that I'm literally talking to the king of Hell! That made me kinda scared but I remembered that I'm his son, so I'd be fine.

He looked at me about a foot away from my face and said, "Are you hungry?"

To be honest I was to say yes so I said "no thanks" but he wasn't happy about that.

I asked if he could take me home but that made him angry.

"Do you not like me...DO YOU HATE ME!?!" He says as blue flames lit the room.

I scream as the flames get closer to me. I couldn't calm down as thoughts raced in my head," Is he actually going to kill me!?!" I thought as I began to panic.

I close my eyes and think about my happy place. When I open my eyes the vision of my happy place didn't go away, because I was actually there.

I pull out my cell phone and text Jasmine,"Um...can you help I'm in Hawaii?" She doesn't text back instead she appears out of nowhere and suddenly we're back to her place.

"Maybe you should stay here for a few days" she said as she looked at me concerned. I nod my head in agreement as I notice a small burn on my arm.

*later that night*
The burn began to sting as my "powers" started to glitch causing everything around me to levitate. Soon the pain becomes unbearable and I scream.

Jasmine freezes my arm to ease the pain, she looks at my arm and gets very upset when she sees the bluish burn.

"He did this didn't he?" She looks into my eyes as I nod my head.

She got angry and punched the wall surprisingly her fist went straight through it.

I decided to change the subject so I asked her if she'd teach me how to use my powers correctly.

She got so happy that I went to her instead of Genger. She raises her hands in the air and laughs, which I thought was kinda strange.

I laugh awkwardly with her but it just made things worse, then all of a sudden she got all serious.

She grabbed my shoulders and said," Ok...all you need to do is focus on what you want to move" I could see the excitement in her eyes.

I became very nervous because I didn't want to disappoint her. I tried to move a glass of water, and my powers glitched causing it to brake against the wall.

Jasmine screamed and so did I. (Don't judge me it was terrifying) after we stopped scream we started to laugh.

I looked around for Genger but she was nowhere to be found. Jasmine didn't seem worried so I didn't worry about it.

I hear a door open and notice Genger standing there still in her PJ's.

"Would you two shut up!? I'm trying to sleep!" Genger shouts before slamming the door.

Me and Jasmine burst into laughter for about the hundredth time today and she continued to teach me how to use my powers.

Eventually we both had become tired and fell asleep.

When I wake up, I see jasmine lying on the floor surrounded by an entire box of pizza and bags of chips. I pick up the trash because it's the least I could do for them letting me stay over.

When Jasmine wakes up I decide to make a little joke. I pick her up and say, " this is the last of the trash."

After we laugh for like 10 minutes straight we get tired and end up falling back to sleep.

Genger comes in the room and yells "get up you lazy bums!" (Even though she's been asleep for 12 hours)

I decide to stay asleep because I'm tired and I don't wanna move. Jasmine has the same idea as me...before we knew it Genger was asleep laying across us. We were all sleeping in the floor even the goat and chicken were sleeping (the chicken was sleeping on the goat).
