Chapter 2

Annie's POV:
I wake up right when we are about to land. I get my luggage from baggage claim and I make my way to the rental car kiosks. I check in because my dad made a reservation for a car for me before I left. I go find my car and put my bags in the back. I get in and start up the care. Before pulling out I let Hayden know I'm on my way. I pull out and drive to their apartment with the windows down so I can breathe in the LA air. I missed this weather. The warm nights, the ocean breeze everywhere you go, and the beachy smell. I pull up to their apartment complex. I get out of the car to get my bags and I hear someone coming up behind me. I turn around to look.
H: boo
A: ahhhh! Oml hayden u scared me!
H: hahahaha ur face!!! Gotcha leblanc
A: it's on Summerall until next time...
H: now where's my hug?
A: hmm, must've left it in Maryland, looks like I'll have to give u one next time
H: come on leblanc
He picks me up and hugs me
H: I missed u anns, more than u know
A: I missed u too Summerall now put me down
H: maybe I'll just carry u around for a bit
A: Hayden put me down!
H: only if u do something for me
A: fine
H: say I love Hayden, he is way hotter than me and he's the coolest
A: I'm not saying that
H: looks like I won't put u down, and I'll have to tickle u
He starts to tickle me and I laugh uncontrollably.
A: fine I'll say it!
He stops tickling me for a minute
A: I love Hayden, he is way hotter than me and he's the coolest
H: actually k might not agree with the whole hotter than you part...
He grins the same grin he made when he checked me out earlier.
A: summerall who? It's playerall now
H: love you too Anns😒
A: I love you summerall!!!
H: I doubt that
A: aww I'm sad, u don't believe I love you?!
I put on a fake pouty face and look at Hayden with puppy dog eyes. I can tell when he gives in finally.
H: alright I believe u 'blancy
He helps me carry my stuff inside. He lives in LA with his brother, Dylan, and his dad. When I walk in Dylan notices and runs up to me.
D: sister!
A: to a mister!
D: it's been too long!
A: Ik! Imu too much!
D: me too!!!
H: when you like your bffs bro more than him...
Hayden mumbles
A: Hayden the drama queen
H: am not
A: are too
H: am not
We argue all the way up the stairs to his room. I tackle him onto his bed and our faces get awkward close. Hayden seems to be almost enjoying it...? I quickly shake it off and get off of him. We decide to lay on his bed and watch a movie. We pick 47 meters down. It's a little scary, but we've both seen it before so we know what to expect. It's a really great movie and I've seen it multiple times. I'm exhausted from the trip here. I start to doze off.

Hayden's pov:
In the middle of the movie I look down at Annie and she's asleep in my shoulder. Aww! She's so cute when she's asleep. She's honestly so gorgeous... wait she's my best friend, I can't have feelings for her?! No I don't. The family and the fan pages have gotten in my head. That's all this is. I need to snap out of it. I let her sleep in my bed and cover her up with the blankets being careful not to wake her. I fall asleep on the air mattress. When I wake up the next morning it's about 9:30. Annie's on her phone.
A: good morning sleepy head
H: it's 9:30am! That's early!
A: I'm kidding Hay! U can go back to sleep, Ik how much u like make ur sleep
H: I have to spend as much time with my best friend as possible while I still get to see you!
A: I'm here all week with you and then we go to Hawaii for a week! I think you have enough time already.
H: already tired of me 'blancy?
A: never
I go sit next to her on my bed and look at what she's doing on her phone. She's texting Hayley. Aww she's such a sweet sister! I miss hay hay! I have an other brother kind of relationship with her. Ever since she lost Caleb, I've kind of always been there for her. I'm glad I met the Leblanc, or else I would never have met the most amazing girl in my life, Annie, and the funniest, happiest, most positive, "little sister" ever. Annie pulls out her vlog camera.
A: hey guys! So today I'm in la!!! Sorry I didn't blog after boarding the plane last night, I was super tired! So many of you have been asking who I'm staying with since my parents aren't here, and the answer is the Summeralls! Say hello Hayden!
H: hi...
A: he's not a morning person😂 so I think we have some ryh meetings today so I'll update u guys later!
She turns off the camera and puts it away. She gets ready for the day and about 20 Minutes later I get dressed. We go downstairs and eat waffles.
Mj: good morning everyone!
A: good morning Mr. Jimmy
Neither me nor Dylan reply to my dad.
Mj: see this is why Annie is my favorite!
H: she isn't even ur kid!
Mj: that doesn't mean she can't be my favorite! Cuz u two are lousy sons
D: love you dad
Dylan finishes shoveling his food into his mouth, gets up and grabs his keys, and leaves because he has filming to do for Brat.
Mj: you guys have to meet with RYH at noon
A: yep! At ramen bar?
Mj: yep! Another reason for her to be my favorite, she actually knows what going on
H: how am I supposed to know?
A: read the emails Hayden... read the emails
H: sassy there! rawr!
A: you're an idiot
H: since we're stating the impossible, you're ugly

Annie's POV:
Hayden is so annoying sometimes. But he's like a brother to me and brothers are annoying every once in a while.
A: oh my god Hayden... how do you deal with him Mr. Jimmy?!
Mj: I don't know honestly
We help Mr. Jimmy clean up and I get my Louis Vuitton backpack and put my MacBook, my notebook, my Songwriting book, and a couple pens in it, along with my phone, chapstick, and wallet, the necessities. Hayden and I go downstairs and get in my rental car to go to the meeting. When we get there Nicole, Michael, and the new assistant are already there. Then behind from them Brooke step out.
A: Brookie!!!
B: Annie!!!
A: omg it's been wayyyyy too long!
B: yeah I'd say 4 1/2 months is a long time!
We all go to a table and start talking business. Brooke and I both have our laptops out taking notes and Hayden is... well he's being Hayden. 
N: annie, we have tons of ideas for you! So our first thing would be for you and Brooke to create a hair line together!
A: I love that idea!
M: it would include some of your favorite hair products and tools, and would all be designed by you and Brooke!
B: that would be so cool!
N: so our next thing is, maybe you could create some rock you hair merch to add to our merchandise collections!
A: definitely! That would be so much fun!
N: and finally, we want to get you back in the studio!
A: omg really?!
N: yep! We want you to record some more solo covers and originals, and some covers and original duets!
A: I would absolutely love to do that!
It's been such a long time since I've been in the recording studio! I took an eight month break since I didn't want to sign another contract until I knew for sure if I wanted to continue singing. I've missed recording so much and I'm definitely ready to go back!
N: since it's been 2 years, we want you to do another duet with Hayden, possibly an original this time
A: that sounds great!
N: Great! We were also thinking about you doing a couple covers worth some people you've never done duets with that we think you would sound really good with.
A: anybody in mind?
N: well we have a couple options, but we are letting you choose who you do them with first as these will be spread out throughout the year. You could do some with Carson lueders, Dylan Conrique, Makenzie Ziegler, and Johnny Orlando. We've also talked to Johnny's and Makenzie's agents and they said that a trio would be even better!
A: I think I'll start with the trio, and then Dylan, and Carson.
N: sounds great! There will be more in the future too! If you have any song ideas, we would love to get those to the studio before we leave on our Hawaii promotion trip so you can record as soon as you finish the songs with the studio!
A: that sounds amazing!
We continue talking and going through all the details of all the opportunities. They talk to Brooke and Hayden. We finish up our meeting. Since we have no other plans for the day, we invite Brooke and try to get Rush to hang out with us for the rest of the day. We decide to go to The Grove and shop for Hawaii. Rush meets us there. It's great being back with my rock your hair family! It's not perfect though because we are missing Hayley. We spend the whole rest of the day shopping and hanging out. Around 6pm we leave The Grove and say goodbye to Rush and Brooke. We go back to the Summerall's apartment. The next couple days I spend in the studio and hanging out with Hayden.
