Chapter 6

Hayden's POV:
Rush and Brooke are the only ones with a key and they already know about our relationship. We assume it's them but also forget what we look like we are about to do and what we might do.
D: what the f-
I need to think quick. I pull away from Annie, shut the door with one arm and covered Dylan's mouth with the other. I hold him by the neck and move my hand from over his mouth. He can still breathe, but not easily.
D: fuck
H: you do not say a word to anyone
I move my hands
D: what the hell did I just see
H: we weren't doing anything. U tell Mom or dad about this and you are dead and if u tell Annie's parents u are really gonna be dead
D: u know what happened last time I kept ur petty little secrets
H: I wasn't being careful
D: I'm not going down with u this time
H: u won't, the only way u r is if u tell them
D: they're gonna find out somehow
H: Ik just let us figure this out
D: fine whatever. Dad just wanted me to check up on u guys. I'm going to my room
H: bye
He leaves and I turn back to Annie who's trying to look like she was ignoring my whole little fight with Dylan.
H: ugh what are we gonna do?!
I flop down on the bed. Annie comes over and lays her head on my arm.
A: I don't know, if we tell them they r gonna break us up and use us as fame and publicity stuff.
H: Ik and if we don't tell them and they find out they break us up bc they'll be mad we didn't tell them
A: there is no way to win this
H: maybe they won't totally hate the idea of us dating
A: maybe
She looks up at me and I look down at her. She has me under some sort of spell because she can make me go crazy without even doing anything.
A: what are we gonna do?
H: idk
A: I think it's time we tell them
H: it's gonna be late when they get back
A: tomorrow. We can spend this last night together before they tear us apart
H: I won't let them, annie, I love you
She looks up at me with a slightly confused face
H: I love you Julianna grace leblanc
A: eww Julianna... but I love you hayden
H: I should call you Julianna from now on just to drive you crazy
A: you already drive me crazy, I don't need you doing it in another way
She moves my arm or her waist and puts her hand on mine. I could stare into her eyes forever. Rush and Brooke walk in and behind them is Annie's dad. I guess someone dealed is out.
Mb: my room now! And Hayden I'm getting ur parents too!!!!
He's definitely mad. We are walking to their room with Annie's dad and Annie whispers to me
A: this is the end I guess
H: it's never the end baby we will figure it out
Mb: Summerall I would shut ur mouth if u don't wanna get hurt
A: Dad! Stop it!
The parents all go talk in the hall and leave me and Annie in their room, waiting for what's gonna happen next
H: it's gonna be okay leblanc
A: no it won't!
Tears start falling down her face. I hold her close to my chest
H: they won't ever take u away from me
They finally walk back in
Mb: how could you lie to us? Annie I'm extremely disappointed! This isn't what u need on the media right now! This will not be good
Mk: billy, let us handle this. U two can't be together anymore. We've agreed that it isn't what you two need. It's bad for the media
A: so this is all because of publicity?! Hayden and I haven't even been together a full day!
Mk: no, it's just-
A: I don't wanna hear it! I'm going to be with Hayden! He makes me happy! He's the only thing I have left and your taking him away from me! How could you do this?!
Mk: look anns, it's not good for your fame, I'm sorry
Mj: it's not appropriate for you two to be staying in the same room anymore. Hayden, you are going to stay with Dylan Brec and hunter
H: oh okay
Mk: we're sorry
A: no ur not! Do u even care about our happiness?!
It's silent
A: that's what I thought! Idc what u guys think, Hayden and I are staying together
Mb: that will not be happening! It's no longer appropriate
He slaps her. She starts crying and runs out. I try to go after her but ms katie and dad hold me back
H: do u have any respect for your own daughter?! Go to hell! It's not appropriate for two people to love eachother?! I love her! What's wrong with that?! Is it not appropriate for your daughter to be happy?! For her to love someone?! You obviously don't love her enough to care what she thinks and what she wants! All I want is for her to be happy, you would think her own parents would too!? And dad? I thought you were better! I'm going to find her, I don't care how hard you try to stop me! And I'm going to love her no matter what! All of you disgust me!
I push through to the door. I'm so mad but I need to find Annie. My vision is blurred with tears. I know that she'd be down at the beach looking at the water. I find her sitting in the sand crying.
H: baby it's okay
A: no it's not, u should go before they find us
H: I don't care what they think anymore
A: but who knows what they'll do to you. Ur gonna get hurt and I don't want that happening. I'm sorry Hayden. They win, they get what they want
H: no, I'm not letting u do this. I'll go to hell and back for u anns
A: Hayden I can't put u through this
H: anns I'm sticking with u, after u left i went off on them. I'm not gonna let them hurt u anymore
My dad shows up.
Mj: hayden, Room! Annie I suggest you return to your room as well. I'll let you two say your goodbyes.
H: we will make this work, text me when u get back to ur room. I have an idea how we can make this work for now.
A: I love you Hay
H: I love u too anns
I hug her tightly. I never want this to end
Mj: come on Hayden
We walk back to dylan Brec and hunters room. We stop in front of the door
Mj: hayden it's for the best. We already moved your stuff. I'm sorry, but it has to happen
H: it isn't for the best dad! Publicity isn't everything! I can't do it without her
Mj: do what?
H: anything. I need her! I love her dad. Why can't you just understand
Mj: I'm sorry hayden
H: are you just doing whatever billy tells you?!
Mj: hayden I know what's best for you
H: you obviously don't! I thought you were better than this dad
Mj: I am hayden...
H: well you aren't acting like it
Mj: I'm sor-
H: I don't wanna hear it.
I walk into the room. This is where I'll be spending the rest of my week😑. I lay down on the pullout couch. Annie texts me
A: so what's ur plan?
H: we sneak out. We hide it from them for a while
A: we shouldn't have to hide it. My parents don't understand I'm not a kid anymore. I'm sorry Hay
H: don't be sorry baby, we will make this work. They can't control us anymore.
A: this is why I love u hay
H: I love u too anns. Text me when everyone in ur room is asleep
A: k will do

Mr. Jimmys pov:
I feel very bad for what I did to Hayden. I know that look, he loves her and I helped tear them apart. He's right, this isn't me, I have to talk to billy, get him to change his mind about them. I can't stop them from being together, that's just cruel

Hayden's pov:
A few hours later around 2am.
A: they're all asleep finally!
H: k good. Idk if I'm gonna be able to get out through the main door. Dylan is the lightest sleeper Ik. Im gonna jump the balconies, let me into ur room and we will sneak out that door
A: okay be careful
It's only 1 room between me and Annie's, and it's her parents room. One wrong move and they can catch me. I manage to get across and we sneak out. We close the door as quietly as possible. That's when Annie's nerves kick in
A: what if we get caught?! What if they tear us apart?! What if somebody wakes up and tell them?! What if-
H: it'll be okay babygirl
A: but what if it isn't?!
I kiss her to shut her up. She's stressing herself out too much. She's silent even after I pull away.
H: that better?
A: a lot better 😊
H: I'm not gonna let anything happen to u
I hold her hand and we carefully walk down the hall. When we turn the corner my dad is standing there
