Chapter 4~

Scarlet POV

I kneeled on one knee and used my Sunlight powers to locate a little boy and a gang. "Hmmm. Harmony Village." I said out loud. "That's a bit far," Wendy said. "Please save my boy." The Lady begged. "We will," Lucy assured. "Now then anybody can ride horses?" I asked. "No sorry/not at all/ never have ridden one." The three girls replied the lady was kept silent. "I'll rent a carriage and a horse." I sighed. 

~~Later~~

"So we're here," I told them. "Mrs... Um..." Wendy mumbled in embarrassment. "Just call me Jamie." She said sweetly. 'Why does that sound so familiar...' I thought. "Jamie, have we met?" I asked. "Now that you say that. You do look like someone I know..." Jamie answered. "By any chance is your husband- never mind that let's find your son." I changed the topic. The city was beautiful. Many people walking and shopping in markets and carts. "Wow, this place is quite busy if I say so myself." Carla looked at her surroundings. "What do you know about my husband?" Jamie asked. "Does your husband have one childhood friend left?" I asked. "Yes actually but, we don't know her whereabouts..." Jamie said becoming more upset. I gripped the reins of the horses. "H-How has he been?" Covering the fact that I was upset. "He's been drinking a lot lately, no one has been able to control him, not even me." She played with her hands. "Then let me deal with it." I offered as I pulled over to our stop to save the child. "No, it's fine." Jamie declined. I climbed off and help the girls off the carriage. "Do you remember her name?" I asked. "I don't know what she goes by but, we call her Ami," Jamie told me. "Wow, I haven't heard that name in a while..." I chuckled. "Wait. You're her?!" Jamie exclaimed. "And you guys had a child way too early," I said as I cast a spell and head to the door and busted it open. "Hand over the child," I shouted. "You can't escape," I claimed. 

"Try us and we'll kill the kid." A guy chuckled. "Activate," I sighed. Misty gas started to form and knock everyone out. Even Lucy, Wendy, Charle, Jamie, and her child. I began using a levitation spell to take them to the carriage and tied up the bad guys and left them outside for the guards to take care of. I began riding back to Magnolia along with the others in the back. 

~~Later~~

We arrived at Magnolia at a hotel and sadly the people in the back are still asleep. There's no way to wake them up. As for me, I'm really tired. I don't have enough energy. I can't go to Fairy Tail since there would be no one there now. I looked around and see a shadow walking across a bridge. "Hey! You there!" I called out. "Scarlet?" A deep voice spoke out. "Can you come here for a sec?" I asked for the unknown figure. "What's up?" As I see him coming under the post lamp. "Hey Gray, I need help carrying them." I pointed to the 4 ladies and a little boy. "What happened to them." He said. "Sleeping mist," I answered simply. "I was the one who casted the spell to rescue the little guy over there," I said pointing to the little boy. "And I'm guessing the other girl is his mother." He plainly stated. "Yup." I turned to the sleeping bunch. "So, will you help me?" I asked. "Of course I can't leave you here." He replied. "Great, how many can you carry at once?" I asked another question. "Depends." He simply answered. "Great you stay here and watch over while I get a room," I said as I was going in. *Ding* "Hello how may I help you?" The employer asked. "Rooms for 6," I replied. "One for each?" He asked. "No, one room for three each," I replied. "How many adults and children?" He asked another question. "3 adults and 2 children," I answered back. "Alright give me a moment to get the rooms ready, you may wait here with them." He got up and went upstairs to get the rooms settled. I went back out seeing Gray carrying Wendy and Charle and headed in to set them down on the seats. I took Jamie's child and set him next to Wendy. "Do you think you can carry the mother or Lucy?" Gray asked coming over to me. "Of course, who do you think I am." I spun around only seeing his bare chest. "Put some clothes on stripper!" I moved away from Gray to get Jamie. As I carried her inside as Gray is carrying Lucy. "Huh, I guess you can," Gray said under his breath. "Can you do me a favor?" I asked ignoring what he just said before. "Yeah sure, what is it?" He replied. "After setting them in their rooms watch over them for me while I return the carriage," I explained. "Sure thing." He accepted. "Thanks," I said ending that conversation there. 

After setting them down on their beds I left without a word and went to return the carriage. After returning to the hotel I entered where Lucy and I were staying and left a note in case she woke up, then entered the room where the rest were. "Hey, I'm back," I whispered hoping that he was still here. Closing the door behind me I turned around and saw him asleep on the couch. 'Pft. Looks like he had a tiring day,' I sighed to myself. I went back downstairs and checked in with the clerk saying now there are 4 adults and 2 children, as well asked for 2 extra blankets. He went under the desk and handed it to me. I thanked him and ran back upstairs to Gray and the others. As I entered the room I see Jamie's child sat on the bed looking around. Frightened of the unknown surroundings of him.
