Lucky Charm

(A/N: I got inspired to write this when a friend of mine gave me a cute pencil pouch for my birthday. Plus Hinata is too adorable, I had to write about him ^w^ Enjoy!)

You looked at the cute little charm as you opened your pencil case. You couldn't help but smile at the cute little but chubby black crow with an orange tip on the top of the head. It was utterly adorable to where a bit of pink dusted on your cheeks.

You had an important exam coming up, and you spent all your time studying as much as you could. See if you didn't pass this exam you would have a low chance getting into the dream college you wanted to go to. You were one of the few that thought long term about your future goals, and wanted to secure that future as much as possible.

As you were walking towards school, you spotted a familiar orange haired boy, and black haired boy.

"Hinata! Kageyama! Wait up!" you called out to the two as you ran up to the duo.

The two of them looked back as Kageyama waved at you, while Hinata stiffened. You knew the volleyball team since you were friends with Kiyoko. She introduced and told you all about the team every time you saw her which was everyday.

"Morning (y/n)," Kageyama greeted.

"M-morning (Y-y-y-y/n)," Hinata stuttered as he looked at you.

"Morning Kageyama. Morning Hinata, are you guys heading off to practice?" you asked them.

"Yeah, we have Interhigh-Preliminaries tomorrow. We're going to practice as much as we can today," Kageyama explained.

"Yeah! You should go, and watch us play!" Hinata commented.

"I'll see if I can make it. I have an important exam that day, so I'll be studying all of today," you told them.

"I'm sure you'll do great (y/n)," Kageyama told you as Hinata nodded as well.

"Thanks, and I know you'll do great at your matches tomorrow," you commented as you all parted ways.

While you were studying at the top of the rooftop, you heard someone else enter.

You looked up to see a familiar face you knew all too well.

"Hey Hinata, what brings you here?" you asked.

"Well, since you have your exam tomorrow, I wanted to give you this," he explained.

He held out a (f/c) pencil pouch decorated with a cute (favorite animal). The zipper was also attached with a cute but chubby little crow with an orange tuft of hair on top. You couldn't help but awe at the item. You held the pencil pouch, and looked at Hinata as his cheeks were now a slight rosy pink. You had a bad habit of losing your pen and pencils, which all your friends knew about it, including Hinata. He would usually find your lost pencils and pens in class. He would return it to you if he can when he didn't chicken out, and got the volleyball members to do it for him. He thought you might like a pouch to keep you from losing your writing materials.

"Think of it as a good luck charm, from me. It should help keep you from losing your stuff, so you have more time to focus on the exam," Hinata added as he looked at you, while sometimes looking away due to how anxious he would get around you.

"Hinata, you're too kind. Thank you," you told him as you pulled him into a hug.

"This is exactly what I need for tomorrow," you added as you transferred your pens and pencils into the pencil pouch after letting go of him.
