"Ms. Summers, may I have a moment with you?" The doctor eyed Graham standing beside her massaging her shoulders. "Alone?"

Buffy nervously shifted on top of the examining table and took Graham's hand "No, whatever it is, Graham can be here."

"Very well." The doctor stood straight and placed the manilla folder on a counter. "After examining your blood work, it appears to be that you are pregnant, Ms. Summers." The couple stared at the doctor with a blank dumbfounded expression.

"W-what? I-I thought it was f-food poisoning." Buffy stuttered.

"No, not food poisoning." The doctor smiled. "I assume, Mr. Miller is the father?"

Buffy nodded her head processing the information. "Y-yes, he is."

"How far along?" Graham heard himself say though he felt to be in slow motion.

"You're only in your first trimester. About twelve weeks, I'd say. I will leave you two." The doctor closed the door behind herself leaving the very shocked couple alone in the room still staring in the place she stood.

"P-pregnant?" Her voice was filled with weariness, shock and uncertainty.

Graham nodded. "Yeah." He looked at girlfriend seeing the fear in her eyes. He took her hand and gave it tight squeeze. "It'll be okay." She looked at him unconvinced. "I promise you, it will be." He pressed his mouth against her forehead.

"But what if...?"

Graham sensed the panic in her voice and pushed her long hair behind her ear "What if what?"

"What if you leave me?"

Graham had never heard a voice sound so frightened and small before. He had no idea this was her major fear. He should have known in hindsight. Especially after all of the stories of her past boyfriends, including Riley leaving her in the dust.

"I'm not going anywhere, babe. You're stuck with me. For good." He wiped her fallen tears from cheeks. Graham rested his forehead against hers. "No more fears. I'll never leave you." He pecked her lips.

Buffy looked at him and studied his face. She searched for something in his eyes to tell her he was lying and uncertain with regret. But the only thing she saw in face was love. "I love you." She whispered.

Graham felt his heart soar. He kissed her and smiled against her mouth. "I love you, too."

Buffy circled her arms around his neck hugging him tightly. "We'll be okay."

Graham kissed her shoulder and said, "Yes, we'll be okay."

A week Buffy and Graham found out about their unborn child. And for a week, Graham nagged Buffy to tell her family but she insisted it wasn't time yet.

Buffy and Graham sat in her office in complete silence staring at each other. "You need to tell them, Buffy" Graham said.

"No. Not yet." Buffy grew tired of this argument quickly.

"Buffy, in a short while it's gonna be pretty damn obvious that something's happening. They need to know. They're your family."

"Graham, I said, not yet." Buffy repeated firmly. Graham raised a brow eyeing skeptically. Buffy threw her hands up in frustration. "What do you want me to say to them? 'Oh, hey, guys, how's the weather? Oh, and guess what, I'm pregnant.' Yeah, that'll go over really well." Buffy rolled her eyes with sarcasm.

"You're thinking too much about this. Start with Willow and end with Xander." Graham leaned forward and placed his hand over hers. He traced his finger of her knuckles thoughtfully. "They'll be so happy for us."

"Why are you so okay with this?" She sounded defeated.

Graham smirked and stood moving around the desk and crouched down at her knees. "Because, I love you and I know everything will be fine. I mean, they took our relationship pretty well. Xander seemed like he likes me. So I won't die - Unless he kills me for knocking you up..." Graham frowned which made Buffy faintly smile. "They'll only be happy for us."

"You're too good for me."

Graham reached into his back pocket and took out his cellphone. "Call, Willow. Talk to your best friend." Buffy took the cellphone watching Graham stand.
