Chapter 5

Avery's POV

It college time now, that time of the year to say goodbye to family, get all studied up.

I don't know how well I like this

Me and Harry are talking about how were are going to handle college, so as we go along Main Street I can fell the tension walking around.

But before I know it Harry's gone, and normally it's me so I'm confused. I see him and some dude rush off in a hurry. I really don't know what's going on except, now I'm alone and I've always hated being alone.

I follow them and realize they are in a FIGHT. I don't know how to handle this except jump right in so before I know it I'm being thrown around and I'm going every which way till I see Harry on the ground and the other guy in him.

"Oh it's about to go down" I scream. That guys thought running through his head lord this girl is cra.

I jump on him and some by passers think we are having sex, but were are not.

I throw him on the ground and shove hi in a trash can. And run over to Harry and hold him in my arms.

He's bleeding all over, but so was that other guy too he was getting his nasty, dirty blood on my white skirt.(bad day to look nice, huh?)

I immediately call my mom and 911. As soon as everyone has shown up Harry's already passed out in the middle of an alley.

The ambulance takes him away and I'm left crying on a dirty alley floor.

My mom soon gets me dinner and we head home around 7:00. My mom knows what I'm going through cause her and my dad used to have fights, and he used to get in them.

Let me just say he's the violent type.

In the morning I head to the hospital with Harry's favorite, chick-fil-a.

I approach the hospital and I check in and run down thousands of halls to find Harry's. When I walk in a see a woman run out crying, a little confused I walk in happy, just to brighten up the mood.

I sit down on the bed beside him and try to comfort him, but he's half asleep. The doctor comes in with his medicine and quickly tells me everything.

"Harry has a brain injury, but just some dents so we just have so easy operations to do. Also he has a fracture jaw and hip". "By the time he gets out of her everything should be fine" the doctor says easily. "But when will he get out". I question. Um in 2weeks so he will start walking and all soon enough. And you can still visit the doctor says exiting.

I wake up Harry and ask him about the lady. When he gets up he looks scared pale as a ghost.
