How it starts

Caroline's POV

As I walk into the woods I hear a whooshing sound behind me and I knew that it was a vampire.

"Hello Love" as soon as I heard that I knew that it was the original hybrid.

Klaus.

Klaus POV

I was walking through the woods and until I spotted a certain beautiful blonde, my blonde

vampire, Caroline. "Hello love" I say. She turned around with her ocean blue eyes and smiles at me.

"Klaus" she replies. My god she is breathtaking.

"What are you doing here, Caroline?" I ask her.

"Just hunting" she replies. We don't really say anything to each other and things turn awakrd really fast.

"Would you like to join me Klaus?" she says again.

"Well love you know my diet. Animal blood doesn't really please me." As soon as I say that

Disappointment washes over her face.

"But anything for you, Caroline" I say. She smiles at me.

It has been hours since we have been hunting together. I actually had some business to take care of, but I would just spend my whole entire life with Caroline, and it always starts with a day. As it starts to get darker we walk towards the road. I stop and look at her.

Caroline POV

I know Klaus tried to kill Elena but just spending the whole day with him was the best. I don't know how to describe it, he just makes me happy. We were walking towards the road, it was getting dark, he stops and turns to me.

"Caroline" he says.

"Yeah?" I reply.

"I am leaving Mystic Falls" I said.

"What! Why?" I reply. I can't believe it.

"I have nothing here for me. I might as well leave" he says quietly.

"You have me" I reply, kind of hurt by his words.

"Caroline" he whispers moving closer to me. " I will show you the world, all you have to do is ask."

"Klaus, I would want to see the whole world, with you would make it more special. But I can't just leave Mystic Falls" I said. "I just can't leave my friends". 

"Caroline you have forever to decide, and I will always be waiting for you" he said. His eyes were staring deep into mine. I slightly nod. Please don't leave me.

"Well I guess this is goodbye then" he said in a heavy voice. I rush towards him and hug him, softly crying on his shoulder. His strong arms around me made feel protective. These were the arms I wanted to be in forever. As we pull away, I look into his eyes.

"I'm gonna miss you" I said, while my voice cracking.

"I'm gonna miss you more love" he said softly smiling. I could see his eyes tearing up.

"Goodbye Klaus" I started walking away, but suddenly he grabs a hold of my arm.

"This is not a goodbye Caroline. I will be waiting for you. If you don't come to me I will come to you. I will always be watching you, making sure you are safe. I'm not leaving you alone Caroline." Before I even knew it, he kisses me on the cheek. "Be safe my love" he whispers and whooshes away.

-After a month-

It has been a month since Klaus left. I spent days thinking about him, crying about him. Why do I feel this way about him? I am supposed to hate him. But I..., I just can't. I need to see him.  I have to tell how I feel . I grab a backpack and just start packing clothes. Tomorrow I'm going to start to travel the world. I know exactly where I'm gonna start.
