SL4D3 walked excited beside me. His servos flying about, while he told me about his match against R4NC3. His opponent was one stellar cycle more experienced than us, so it was something new to win against them. Even if it was just in training.
I grin at the bubbly vehicon beside me and lay a servo on his shoulder armor. "Good job, SL4D3! R4NC3 is a hard opponent! You showed him how's it done!"
The big smile that stretched over his face plates made my spark hum with fondness. My platoon member was nothing like the typical Decepticon. Or more, he was nothing like you would think a 'con would be.
His excitement over small thinks showed how much of a youngling he still was, and sometime in the last half of a stellar cycle we were sparked, I adopted him as something like a little brother.
ST3V3 on my other side seemed to feel the same way for him. But as he looked onto me, I could tell he thought the same for me aswell. Overprotective ST3V3 was always going out of his way to play the big brother for us.
I smiled at our little group. Different and maybe strange, but still family.
