I can't believe that so much has happened. Austin completely forgave me and we're more close than ever before. After announcing that I will be the luna and be in charge of the academy, we found a way of living together and I love every moment we spend together.
Brianna is one lovely, sweet girl. She loves both of us but still that Austin is her favorite. Possibly because they have a few hours together on Sunday. Some quality time together and I've seen that she's cuddled away in his arms, watching a Disney movie. Preferably, the Lion King or Peter Pan. Her favorites.
And even for Austin and me... well, I get my quality time with him as well. Once a month we go out together. Dinner, a movie or anything else. It's more to get out of the house. Not to mention that no matter where we're going, we always end up in bed together. And the sex between us. God, the sex is amazing. Either it's raw and rough or just loving and gentle. I'll never get enough of it. And ehm, by the way, we do it like... twice or three times a week.
'Astra, what are you still doing here. It's lunchtime.' Nissa shows up.
Right. That means time with Austin. 'Well, since it's quiet, I'll just take the rest of the day free. I'll take over on Friday from you, okay. Get away for the weekend with your mate.'
Her eyes sparkle. 'Thank you. Get out, enjoy lunch.'
I will. I just wink at her and walk out of the building. Back to the house, I share with Austin and Brianna. Once inside, I find a note on the refrigerator which says 'outside'. But on the porch, I find another note 'lake'. Why so cryptic? Still, I follow the notes but when I reach the lake, I can see a plaid and a basket. Even now, he still surprises me and I really like it. Where's Austin? He can't just leave me notes like this and not be here. 'Austin?'
'I'm here.' He comes from behind a tree. Looking really good. Dark jeans with a button up shirt in black. Like he came walking off a freaking magazine cover.
That way it's always impossible to keep my hands to myself. I want to unbutton his shirt with my teeth. The idea alone is enough that my pants start to feel a little tight. I want to say something but I don't. His scent says that he's nervous.
'I wanted to see your reaction to this first.' He swallows. 'You like it?'
Does he have bad news or something? I don't like it. Normally, he's never like this. 'I have honestly no idea how to react. Do you have bad news or good news?'
'That depends on you.' He rubs the palm of his hands against his jeans. Clammy hands.
Why are you nervous? I want to ask but yet again, nothing comes out of my mouth.
Austin takes me to where the plaid is. 'We've been through enough together. The secrets we share. The fact that you were missing for six years. Yet you came back, hoping to find a place to be home. We've had some ups and downs... and yet overcame it all.' His beautiful deep brown eyes lock onto mine. 'And now... you're my brother, my mate, my best friend, my lover. I know that I can trust you with all my heart.... in fact, I'm giving you my heart... my body and my soul. Will you be my luna, my partner, be a father for any of the children we might get... To be my husband?' He drops to one knee, showing me a ring.
O. My. God. Surprised about his kind and warm words, I can't help but feel some tears. I fall on my knees in front of him. 'Yes.' I never even expected this. After all, we're still family. Our pack accepted us but anyone outside of that will think that there's something wrong with us. 'But how? We actually already have the same last name.'
'You changed your name to join Division. So that's you're real name know.' He explains. 'Only we and our pack know the truth.' Austin puts the ring on my finger.
I give him a kiss and pull him close in a hug. We're engaged. He actually proposed to me. I just thought it will be a ceremonial thing within our pack. Curious to the ring, I let him lose to look at it. It has a small square stone. 'What kind of stone is it?'
'Moonstone, for what we are.' Austin takes my hand and kisses the back of it gentle. 'And because we have a moon Goddess. She just has a mysterious way of working and brought us back together. Even after six years.'
'That's true.'
His hand holds my chin and he kisses my lips. 'I love you.'
'I love you too, with all my heart, Austin.' I feel his lips against mine and after a moment to deepen the kiss. I am actually getting married. To Austin. To have a beautiful daughter Brianna. My life couldn't get any better than this.

And that's the end of this story. Austin has completely forgiven Astra, and they're moving on to a new chapter of their life together with Brianna. The work is equally spread under those two and they lead the pack together. I want to end it like this and choose not to go for the wedding itself. Mostly because that's different in every story I read myself. So, no, not that.
