Tik... Tik... Tik... The sound of a clock ticks and never stops... Except in Wonderland where night is day and day is night. Where cats disappear and animals talk. Where everyone is mad and everything that is never was & everything that never was is.

Funny, don't you think? How IS a raven like a writing desk? That is one of the many question that may never be answered until science finds an answer. But my answer... Begins here. In my wonderland... Enjoy the show.

"Cheshire! Cheshire Cat! Cheshire Cat where are you?!" I screamed. That smiling, cunning cat of a man had done it again. He went up and disappeared to who knows where.

"My my Alice. What's the fuss? I've been next to you the entire time." The all too familiar voice purred in my ear as arms magically appeared wrapped around my waist.

"Cheshire!" I beamed and hugged the man with the ears and tail of a cat.

"Hello, Alice." He grinned and spun me around. "Must I always be in sight around you, my darling?"

"Yes. You know how much I hate being in this forest alone." I told him and tapped his nose. He rolled over in the air, onto his back and smiled his whicked grin.

"Did you forget that, here, that everything that is, in your world, isn't. And that everything that isn't is, in our world?" He laughed. I was stumped, he got me there.

"Alright fine, but still! I don't like it when you leave me alone in the forest." I pouted. The cat's expression dropped and he stood up.

"Alice, I would never dream of leaving you in this dangerous world. The Queen of Hearts is loose, the Dormouse is gone, and the Catipillar is dead. There is no place safe for you without me. All I want is to protect you from the Red Queen's evil and keep you alive. Alice, in this world, it's about fear and wishing." He explained and held onto my arms. "And what I fear is losing you. What I wish... Is for you to be safe but for that to come true I have to lose you... You have to go back home, Alice. It's not safe here anymore."

"But Cheshire I don't want to leave! I want to stay here with you, the White Rabbit, the March Hare, and the Hatter! Keep me locked inside the house! I'll stay safe there!" I yelled at him, not wanting leave my dear cheshire cat.

"No, Alice! The knights will find you there! I'm sorry you can't stay here anymore! It's just a dream! It's all a dream! It's time for you to wake up Alice!" He yelled back and shook me by my shoulders.

A bell sounded. Dong... Dong... Dong...

"I'm sorry, love. But you have to leave... I'll miss you dearly, we all will." With those words the cat placed a soft kiss on my lips and disappeared into black with the rest of Wonderland.

I searched around in the blackness for my love called the Cheshire Cat or atleast even the slightest fragment of his memory. But, alas, I found nothing. Just black, pitch black nothingness. I looked around again and screamed his name. I screamed for him to keep me safe for I was terrified without him by my side. Where he stood, next to me, for years without leaving was now empty... Empty of his existance and I was finally alone in the world.

The bell sounded again, the fourth time... A fifth... A sixth... And with a seventh and final ring... I woke up...
