furry bond

Thunder rolls across the night sky as i am locking the door to the animal clinic, where i do my shifts part time.
I walk into the restroom with a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and lift my shirt, removing the bandage from my side.
Weird. The wound has completely disappeared. What the hell is happening to me? Its healed in 24 hours when really it should take a week or two... and a scar left behind obviously.
I drag a large bag of cat food down the hall to where the cat clinic is. I walk inside and place the bag on the floors. Suddenly the cats start hissing and spewing and scratching against their cages. Somethings up. I walk out the room and shut the door behind me. As soon as im out the room, the hissing stops.
KNOCK KNOCK
Someones banging on the door of the animal clinic. I walk up to the door and realise its clarke griffin. I unlock the door and see her crying.
"I only took my eyes off the road for 2 seconds to change the song on my ipod and my car decided it wants to run down some stray dog. Its in my car." She runs towards her car, me following her. I dont care if i get wet.

When she pops the hatchback on her blue pontiac g3, the dog befins to howl and bark at her. I look at her. Even when soaked she is still pretty.
I lower myself to the dogs level and look into its eyes. For some reason i feel a slight change in my eyes and the dog finally calms down, lowering its head and whining.
"Her legs broken but she'll survive." I say to clarke whos sitting on the tabletop deinking a mug of coffee i gave her.
"Your still cold arent you? Sorry i didnt think about that." I quickly say and throw my bronco bulls hoodie to clarke.
She puts it on. "Its a bit big but i...i...i like it."

I walk clarke back to her car.
"Uh.....do you wanna come to the party with me..on friday?" I pluck up the courage to ask.
"Yeah, i will. What i said to ontari and lincoln, i lied. And by the way is that your way of asking me on a date?" She asks.
"Would you call it a date?" I ask.
"Yes i would." Clarke says.
"Then its a date." I say.
