The Beginning

≈Third Person≈

    "Why am I here?" demanded a certain god of the underworld.
  "Oh shut up, Hades."

Hades looked around at his name, but found nothing.

   "Where are you?" Hades asked, still looking around.

"I believe what you should be asking is, Where are you?" the feminine voice replied. Confusion crossed Hades face.

    "Isn't that what I just asked?" he said.

"Gods, your dense!!" the voice sighed.

  A woman materialized in front of him. She had waist length, wavy brown hair, and she was wearing a simple white dress.

     Hades bowed respectfully.

"Lady Hecate." She bowed back.

"Hades."

    "I have brought you here to discuss a situation in my world. It has come to my attention that one of my wizards had turned to the dark side."

    "And....what does this have to do with me?" Hades asked.

  "Wait, let me finish. That was years ago. Now, two days ago he killed two people, and tried to kill their son, Harry.But his powers were destroyed, and Harry was unscathed, all but one cut." Hecate looked hesitantly at Hades, not happy about how he would react to the last two comments.

     "The evil wizard hasn't died and he doesn't plan to die at all. And Harry's scar will be the shape of a lightning bolt."

"Lightning bolt?!?!?" Hades was irritated. Zeus always got all the attention.

But then he processed what Hecate had said before that, then he was mad.

 
Didn't die?!?!?!?

Doesn't plan to?!?!?!?

     " Now do you understand why I called you here?" Hecate asked.

   "Because the dark side has to die?" Hades asked hopefully.

"No."

"Because I need to get the scar off the kid?"

"No."

"Because—"

    "You know what? I'll just tell you myself." Hecate said.

  "The wizard knew about the gods and their existence. He plans to regain his powers backs and conquer both worlds. After he kills Harry. And Harry is the only one who can actually kill him."

  "So....." Hades said.

  "So, there is only one child in this world that really has a connection with  Harry, that can actually relate to what happened to his family, knows how he really feels on the inside."

    "You don't mean....." Hades sighed."Why him?"

"For all the reasons I just told you, idiot!" Hecate snapped.

     " But isn't he too old already?" Hades asked.

   "If we go through with it, no. He will go all the way back to Harry's current age, and be transported to Harry's aunt and uncle's house. He and Harry should get along well. Because of him un-aging, he will have to lose all his memories. He'll gain them back over time. But his powers will remain the same as ever, but he will lose training." Hecate explained.

  "Okay, okay." Hades said. "When does he leave?"

"The day before yesterday......." Hecate replied cockily.

       Miles and miles away, a boy named Nico DiAngelo disappeared.
