this takes place in season 37 in 2017
season 23 took place in 2010(im still going by the standard the there are 2 seasons per year)
james and sharna got together at the end of season 23 and married at the end of 24 during the tour after season 24 sharna met a homeless eleven year old named lindsay arnold. James and Sharna mutually decided that they were going to adopt her soon after. They had introduced Lindsay to the cast at age 12 and she quickcly became the shows personal "mascot". Everybody loved her like family. Everybody would suggest that lindsay could be on the show, but of course she was too young. Lindsay said that when she was 17 she would do it. The cast proposed the idea to the producer and he agreed but the idea was kept secret to public.
this story starts right when jordan and lindsay meet .
p.s. the pro and the proffesional get 3 weeks before the premiere to gain extra days to teach the basics of dance
