I'm speeding on this road just like any ordinary day. This was what I get to call 'work'.

I turn into a secluded area of what looks like a parking lot to an abandoned warehouse.

I pulled over to the side where I saw my men standing by two wrecked vans.

"Tell me what you found," I demanded.

"We obtained our stolen shipment of arms. The trunk was also stocked with a ton of narcotics, some green, and about 80 stacks," Cade explained as they carried out large duffle bags.

"They also got some white in here," Julien holds up a brown package in his hands.

"Take all of it and hurry. After Rios hears that we raided his shipments, he's going to send his men our way. Police also reported a shootout around this area as well. They may be on their way here as we speak." I ordered while walking back to my car.

"Get your guns ready. If you see anyone from Rios' gang, there's gonna be another shootout," I say once more before sliding into my car.

We were back on this road, speeding and swerving through anything lying in the way of our path.

Just as I predicted, Rios sent his men to hunt us down. Bullets flew everywhere and all you heard were the sounds of gunshots.

Two of Rios' cars were shot down by my men. That left only one more to take down. Just as I reached for a gun in the passenger seat, the sounds of police sirens grew louder, meaning they were getting closer.

"Guess who decided to join the party," I sighed.

"Don, the police are behind us. We blew a tire in Rios' last car. The police caught them and now they're heading towards us. We need to shoot them down," Cade explains through our earpiece devices. In situations like these, we avoid using our cell phones or radios, which the police can hack into.

"There's no time for that. They're not going to stop until one of us is caught," I begin. "There's only a matter of time until Rios sends an ambush to our headquarters. Cade and Julien go ahead of me. Lead the rest into our backup warehouse. The police have an eye on the vehicles you're in right now so I need you to switch to the cars parked at the warehouse and take the load back to our quarters," I order.

"Don't get caught; you'll be arrested on the spot once they see the load and they'll track down the whole gang."

"But what about you Don?" Julien asks.

"Don't worry about me," I watch as Cade and Julien's car speeds in front of me, followed by the rest of my men's cars.

"No matter how prosperous a leader may be, he must also make sacrifices when needed," I remember my father's words.
