Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

Kadynce's POV

May 4th 2 PM

I looked around, I was running.

Running...

All I could see were trees.

Then something grabbed me, I screamed loud enough for birds to hear me.

'Help!' I tried to scream but voice was drowned out.

A hand hit me.

A crash.

I woke up panting, my eyelids fluttering back and forth. I felt warmth next to me; a body. I traced my fingers around my pillow, and rolled over and saw Aleks sleeping next to me. I smiled then poked his nose while he slept. I grabbed my phone off the floor to check what time it was, 2:36. I groaned, I knew last night I was tired but I didn't know I was that tired. I slowly got up and stretched my arms trying not to disturb Aleks, he moved around a bit but didn't wake up.

I moved off the bed and looked at my new room. The white walls looked brand new as if they had never been touched. I took a glance at the floor the carpet looked old and a bit dirty, but nothing I couldn't fix. I had a hot pink bean bag in the corner of my room, which matched my covers. There was a brown dresser which looked worn down and dusty. The dresser matched a tall mirror that stood next to bean bag, kind of antique but still modern. I looked at my duffel bag and my suitcase. I groaned not wanting to put the stuff away but I had to.

I grabbed the grey duffel bag and picked out some clothes. It was half summer and half spring weather and to be honest, I didn't know what to wear. I found a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a grey crew neck sweater. I threw it on with a little thin tank top underneath. I turned to the mirror and saw that my hair was matted in a bun. I quickly ripped the rubber band out of my hair. I quickly felt my hands take a few strands of hair with my rubber band. I ran to my suitcase and looked for my leopard print brush. I found it along with my stuffed creeper. I grabbed my creeper and put it on the bean bag, then I started to brush through the knots in my hair. I tugged at the brush forcing it to go through my hair. I grabbed my rubber band off my dresser as I felt arms wrap around my waist. "Good morning Kody," Aleks said as he kissed my forehead. I felt my body fill up with heat, Aleks never hugged me like that before, but it felt so right. Yet I couldn't shake off the feeling that I had kissed Seamus.

"Good afternoon you may say," I said as I picked my rubber band off the dresser.

"Same thing right?" He said as buried his face in my hair, "Hey and where's Ginger? Is she with Sly or something?"

I shook my head, "The airport wouldn't allow her to go on the plane." I sighed a bit as I moved my rubber band around.

"Oh, well who has her?"

"Natalie, she's with Cosmo right now.."

"Well, maybe a miracle will happen."

"I doubt that," I said as he let me put my hair up into a quick ponytail.

"You never know, but how did you sleep last night? You moved around quite a bit."

"Oh I'm sorry, that happens sometimes."

He chuckled a bit, "It's ok."

"I slept like a baby last night."

"Well that-" He stopped and I heard my door click and footsteps start to come from the little hallway. Aleks immediately let go of me a and threw himself into the bean bag chair holding the creeper.

"Hey, I thought I would wake you up, but looks like he already did." Seamus said as he walked in. He looked up and down at me and smiled, "Oh Aleks you have a visitor."

Aleks looked confused, one eyebrow rose as he walked out.

"Who's his visitor?" I asked as he left.

"Some girl named Ashlyn." He said.

Kevin's POV

I was sitting down in the foyer watching Ashlyn stand by the door with a present in her hands. She had blue highlights with a gothic looking style, which seemed the style Aleks went for half the time. I looked at my socks then at the stairs, I saw Aleks running down looking pretty stupid with a confused look on his face. "Ashlyn what are you doing here?" He asked.

"Oh I came by to drop off my anniversary present for you!" Ashlyn said with a big smile then hugged him.

"Oh yeah, it's been a year since I..." His voice trailed off a bit.

"I also came by to drop off this too," She then lunged at Aleks kissing him. I heard a small gasp from the top of the stairs and looked over, it was Kadynce. A heartbroken Kadynce. I got up and tried to not disturb the two kissing. When I got up there she looked crushed and defeated.

"Um, you ok?" I asked her. She just kept standing there watching them make out. I grabbed her arm and pulled her down the stairs towards the garage. "Kadynce, come on," I said.

"How, I thought... he said...." She said her voice cracking. Aleks just had to fuck up things first she loses her house, her YouTube, and now Aleks decides to, two-time her.

"No, listen. It's just a guy, only one guy. Come on, I know you two had something but you can't just let this bring you down." I told her but she still looked shocked and sad until she pulled me in for a hug. I could feel her tears streaming down her fav and onto my shirt. "Just let it out." She looked up at me, her brown eyes staring at mine. She was really short, I know she told everyone she was 5'5" but in reality I could tell she was 5'3", we always used to Skype, have long conversations, we also streamed together. She had the cutest laugh and would always rage quit every time I killed her in a game. She had a beautiful smile I couldn't resist, and she was downright beautiful. Yet I know what creatures like her and the ones who don't I know who they like. I was just usually handed this information.

I knew Seamus must have gotten his hands on her when he went to her house, and I also knew Sly liked her a little but liked Ashley. Jordan liked Natalie. Dan liked food. Nick really just liked no one. Ze liked Sam and Kricken, which I didn't see how, she was so much younger than us. While Aleks, yet Aleks had the biggest crush on her, he somehow fucked it up. Then no one knows who I like, which is why everyone usually told me their secret love life.

"I don't know, I mean he kissed her." I heard her mumble into my shoulder. I rubbed her back gently, trying to let her know it was going to be ok.

"Kadynce I know you have talked to more than one guy, Aleks isn't the only one out there," I told her, I heard her sniffle and I saw her nod her head. I leaned my head on top of hers just letting her stand there. "You know what we can do? Make a creatures skit introducing you, we can have you beat the shit out of Aleks or you can beat up Seamus either is fine." She laughed at that.

"Yeah, I think that would be good I just want to eat first."

"Alright, do you like peanut butter?"

"I love peanut butter!" She practically screamed.

"Ok well you're going to have an old fashioned PB&J with Kevin."

I finished making the sandwich and I handed it to her. "There you go a handmade Kevin sandwich." She smiled and started to eat it.

With a mouthful she asked me, "What made you, Sly, Nick and Ze join back the creatures?" I laughed a bit enjoying that she didn't care if she had food in her mouth when she talked to me.

"Well, we kind of wanted to come back because of the guys, we really missed them and it's hard to stop living with them after you know the group is still there without you." She nodded, while eating her sandwich.

"Well I think I'm going to ask Jordan for my computer soon, because I really want to live stream. Oh wait, I can't my account got hacked..." She said as she rolled her eyes and chewed her sandwich more furiously. I had an idea and laid it out for her

"Here I have a solution, change your email addresses, if you need to you can use mine and I'll help change your code to stream. And the YouTube threat we could track down. Then it will be over." I said as her eyes lit up.

"Really? You would do that?" She asked.

"Totally," I said, "But I need to go to the store first want to tag along?" She nodded, "Alright here are the keys, you can start it up I need to get my wallet first." Kadynce left and I felt bad for doing this but we had to show our fans that she had joined. I texted James real quick, 'The hawk and button are I leaving, set up phase 1. BTW don't say anything to Aleks he made out with Ashlyn in front of the button.' After that I went outside to join Kadynce in the car.

James' POV

I got the text from Kevin, I read it and muttered, "Dumb ass.." I went into the live streaming room and saw Aleks and Ashlyn talking.

"Hey James," Aleks said to me.

"Fuck you two, now get out." I said as I logged into my computer.

"Wait what's wrong?" Aleks said as he got up.

"You fucking ruin everything, now get out!" I almost screamed as I started up my live stream. We wanted Kadynce to be in good mood for when we set up the plan but now she was all upset thanks to Aleks.

"Wait you're live streaming without me?" He asked.

"Yeah, now go somewhere else with your girlfriend so you can break someone else's heart." I got up and pushed Aleks out of the room and glared Ashlyn out. Once they were out I set up a water bucket on the top of the door which had stairs leading up to the main house, those stairs then lead down into the live streaming area. "SLY!" I yelled upstairs. "START GETTING THE MASK READY!"

"ALRIGHT!" I heard him scream back.

I went over to my computer and typed in chat, 'You guys want to see the new creature?' Immediately the comments rolled yes all the way down except for one guy who said, 'I'm horny,' I ignored it and turned on the camera to show our garage door which was by the basement's stairs, another camera which was planted on the counter, and then the final one which showed the door with the bucket on top of it. I laughed knowing she would get a kick out of this.

Sly's POV

I had the mask on and I heard the garage door open. I was standing in the hallway where the front door was and I got ready to run after Kadynce when she came out. I heard the door open, "Ok yeah just put the keys on the counter." I heard Kevin say. I laughed as I saw her walk towards the island. I then jumped out of the hallway and screamed at her, she turned around screaming with her hand in the air, 'Oh shit!'

Btw guys, thanks for reading! it means a lot <3 you guys are seriously the best, also I'm trying to get comedy in here since so far all there is depressing stuff but now I'm adding comedy and guys since fanfics range from variety, I can change sexual appeal, looks, who's in what, who hates who and etc. I just wanted to state that because there will be a little surprise soon
