True Nature

I believed love to be fake
An illusion most would take
But it is no foul art
It's a matter of true heart
A way to be shown as true
To the ones who care for you
It is not the feels of flesh
But the mind's thought that refresh
It is them that mange it
They who make true lovers meet
The nights that your passion hone
Moments for a life you'll own
Promises inscribed in stone
Just as if on Heaven's throne

Yet beware the hollow bias
For it shall sure test your prowess
And between love and lust
There's a difference know you must
It becomes a carnal sin
If on pleasure you're to keen
Do not trade the kindest fate
Just so your needs you can sate
You may be tried by desire
Which your mind will too much tire
Attempt over you to reign
And on your soul leave a stain
It is urges such as this
That with care you must resist

Should you hold on to your will
And to you instincts not kneel
Should you keep up your resolve
Of all pain you'll be absolved
As when the time will arrive
And together you will thrive
It will all become too clear
That there's nothing left to fear
In the nights of ebony
You'll feel only harmony
And as the last doubt is ebbing
You'll find passion unrelenting
If of this path you are fond
You'll recieve such a reward
