Kate Pov.

[Next morning] "Kate, wake up, Alice is here already! Mum was shouting to me as she was opening my curtains making the sun rays hitting my face not allowing me to see anything. Ok mum I will be down stairs in any minute. “There is no need to come downstairs, I am already upstairs" it was Alice, "oh Alice come in" I said with my tired voice. "No there is no time for this, we still need to get ourselves a new makeover for the day" her voice screamed out. I got out of bed, took a quick shower, blow dried my hair then went to get dress up for the makeover. I wore a beanie with my hair left out. A black t-shirt with quote prints on it with blue jeans. After all it looked good. Before anything I quickly went down stairs, poured cereal into my plate, took my time eating it while Alice was standing on top of my head to hurry up. Breakfast time finally came to an end as Alice was jumping up and down for me to speed faster. I quickly washed my hands, gave mum a quick bye and speed out of the house. Alice's mum was outside with the engine on ready to drop us of at the shopping centre. [Shopping centre car park] I can't believe it. We have been here I no time, I didn't recognize but I bet she was speeding, if she was then hope she won't get a speeding ticket. Alice and I got out of the car as her mum was telling us the “rules" we had to follow, basically a 10 minutes lecture about safety. The whole time in my head I was thinking, 15 year olds are old enough, we have to learn to be independent not treated like kids, we are teenagers. Actually she is a really nice woman, it just she is too overprotective and annoying at some points. Other times she is AWSOME. Anyways the lecture finally came to an end and we were left to walk into the shopping centre. 

First Alice took me to a nail salon. “Hi there, is there something I can help you with" a voice came out of nowhere. I turned behind me to see the manager; yes I knew she was the manager by her badge. Anyways time past and it was our turn. Alice didn't give me a chance to talk, she straight away spoke. “Can she please have her nails painted white with her forth nail covered with glitter on both side, and also make it look long, shiny and square filed. Do the same to the toe nails. Most importantly, NEATLY" she made her words clear. At the same time I was wandering how my dress was going to look.

Around 30 minutes the lady finished. I was actually surprised with the results. It was more perfect then what I imagined. The whole way to the next beautician I kept staring at it non- stop just like I never saw colored nails before. "There is still more to come" Alice started giving me the” there is more to come look”. Next was the hair dresser. In no time I was in there already. Alice looked really excited to complete our looks, see was impressed with her red nail polish designed, but by the way it was done I had a feeling that her dress was going to be simple but nice. I tried thinking what best theme will suit her style but nothing came to my mind. Anyways we reached into the hair salon, wow it looks like Alice planned out everything to happen before it even happens. We walked in the salon and a lady came and grabbed me to a seat without me even saying anything. Then out of nowhere Alice planned to cover my eyes to make it a surprise. 1 hour finally came to an end after all the water, scrubs, heats and more. I just felt wow, let me tell you, it was a disaster." FINISHED now we can remove that eye cover" I heard Alice mutter out loudly. Out of nowhere I felt a flash of light basting into my eyes. I seriously couldn't see anything but then later started to settle in. In front of my eyes, all I could see was beautiful dead straight hair with volume and some curls at the bottom. It looked practically AWSOME. I loved it. "Thanks" I was saying as I turned around looking for Alice. She was right beside me doing her hair. “Looking good there” she muttered. Wow your hair is looking simple and awesome to. I know she loves simple things. It was looking good but really simple. She was also finished but needed some fixing. 5 minutes later it was all done. Her hair was just dead straight, nothing really new. I actually thought that this was the end of the entire makeover but noooo... Alice decided to take me to the last makeover session. We still had a lot of time to go. With our hair and nails, everyone was looking at us like we were getting ready for our wedding or something like that. Now, we are getting ready to go and get our makeups done. When I say makeup I actually mean cake face. No I am just joking. I mean formal makeup for party and night time. I went first. Actually Alice wanted me to start. For the past 10 minutes we were arguing on who should go first. But I lost so u had to go first. To match my skin color foundation, the lady started with BB cream straight after all the moisturizers she packed my face with and the washing. As I was lightly tan, I needed to have certain makeup on so it could look good. First after the foundation, she went off with the eyeliner. In her head she thought to go for smoky eyes makeup using black and white as apparently it is going to match my dress and also it would match my whish green outline eyes stand out. She finished that like about 45 minutes later. It was taking a really long time for perfection. It was worth the time. She moved on to my lips. She put on a red violate cherry color without its gloss to look good. After so she moved straight away into blushing my cheeks. She thought that it won't look good or in other words in won't match if it stands out, so she put on pink fairly floss blush powder to stand out lightly. After all it looked really good. It took me around 2 hours to get it done. I couldn't recolonise myself straight after I finished. I went to go and show Alice but she was still in the other makeup room doing her makeup. So I decided to wait for her in the waiting room until she finished. I was really surprised with the results for both the both of us. In less than a minute after I sat down she was finished. "ALICE!!" I screamed out really surprised by her results. She looked super gorgeous. Even thought she was being simples she looked really good. At first she didn't recognize me as I never packed my face with makeup, not really, I mean eye shadow and lipstick etc. she was still going to come as complement me but it was too late already, we needed to leave as it was 4 already and the party started 5 all till midnight. Before I mentioned about time, Alice's mum was on the phone ringing. "ALICE, I HAVE BEEN WAIT OUTSIDE FOR THE PAST HALF AN HOUR. WHERE ARE YOU, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALLED YOU FOR THE PAST HOUR" I heard a voice coming from the other end of the line. Wow that was so loud. “I am so sorry mum; I am on my way to outside now" Alice replied smoothly acting like nothing was benign said. Good try Alice; I am not stupid I can hear everything, it kept repeating in my head...
