chapter 1: The birth of our new friendship

"GET YOUR LAZY ASS OUT OF BED!!!" my mom screamed from downstairs. Just a perfect way to wake up on the weekend, right? "Im coming!!" I yelled while slipping on my old torn blue jeans and my loose black tank top with my favorite black hoodie to cover my ears.  I walk down my steps that lead to the kitchen ever so slowly to get on my moms nerves even more. Little did I know, that a certain someone was watching me do my morning routine. My mom came running up the steps, only to crash into me, sending me to fly down the stairs to land on my bum. She quickly got to her feet and slapped me right across the face, leaving a red handprint on my face, "I TOLD YOU TO GET YUR ARSS {ass} DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!" she screeched. Sometimes I think she's part bird or something.

~Ikuto's P.O.V.~

'I cant belive her mom slapped her like that!' Ikuto thought to himself while his tail flicked in irritation. 'I'm going to talk to her about that today when she goes to the forest...' he smirked. He hopped down infront  of his crushes house {A.K.A Silver's house} he knocked on her door after I amazingly hid my tail and ears I  purred slightly at the thought of seeing her beautiful face, but instead was greeted by her mother. I kind of slightly hissed at her and she sneered before slurring in a slightly loud voice, "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT KITTY~BOY?!". I saw Silver sneak towards a window and she began to climb out to get away from her mother. I shook his head and said sadly, "I guess I'll just have to go home, seeing that Silver probably doesn't wanna hang out today." I said with fake sadness. "That's Damn Right!" her mother sneered. I rolled his eyes slightly and walked away out of sight, before making a mad dash for the woods, he found Silver leaned against a tree, crying, her black and blue hair falling to shield her face.

~Silvers P.O.V.~

I looked up and saw him. I saw his beautiful cat ears and tail swaying gently. I tried my best to hide the hand print from him, although he probably already saw. My breathe hitched when he started walked towards me and his hand reached forward and stroked my face gently. I winced at his touch, making him stare at me weirdly, but then he sat down beside me and said in a quiet voice, "Can I see your beautiful ears and tail? I mean, We are the same, are we not?" I could hear the sadness in his voice. I took my hoodie off and my ears stood up and I unwrapped my tail. I sighed and waited for him to yell at me, or to call me a freak and to run away crying "Monster! Monster!" but he didn't..
