What Could Have Been?

Do you ever think of what could have been?

1 choice different and everything shifts.

You don't go talk to that pretty girl.

Y'all don't become friends.

You don't write her poetry.

She doesn't feel loved.

Before 10th grade she isn't here anymore.

You never stayed up all night talking to her.

Just talking about anything.

You just want her to be happy ; Know she is loved.

You try to be there as much as possible.

What if you never had the courage to talk to her?

I probably wouldn't have even ever wrote poetry.

Expressing my emotions in a constructive way.

I probably wouldn't be here.

I would have imploded long ago.

Never went to church.

Never went somewhere I was happy.

With a girl that made me happy.
