1 - Opposites

Borealis's POV

April 5, 2014
Today was a pretty ordinary day, school, pizza place, TV, swim, and rest, but we did have a new student today. Her name is Australis South Ackerson, she's from New Zealand and everyone kept making fun of her name. Well I'll skip the describing and tell what happened today.

"Good Morning!!" My 2 year old sister, izabela screamed in my room. I get up, yawn, and rub my eyes. I look at the clock and it's 4:00 am. My mom picks up izabela and puts her back to sleep.

When I wake up early, I cannot go back to sleep no matter how hard I try, so I stay up for the next 2 hours.

6:00 rolls by and I hop in the shower. I brush my teeth, fix my hair, and then I put on some tights and a bright pink shirt.

It's 6:35 am and I hear Demi and Annalyn, my other sisters just getting up. Lily was crying and Izabela was laughing, and I was getting a headache.

I grabbed my book bag and sat outside. Annalyn came out with her book bag half way opened.

"Can you close this for me." Annalyn asked.
I tried closing it with my hand but the zipper was stuck. I kept trying.

"Just use your powers!" She said.

"Okay, Okay." I said.

I fixed the book bag and went back to just staring into space, until I hear my twin brother and sister, Demi and Daniel rush out of the house.

"I totally beat you." Demi said.

"No you didn't!" Daniel said.

Of course they bring their noise outside. I covered my ears until I heard the alarm on my phone go off.

"Ok guys, let's get going," I said

My brothers and sisters and I walk to school, it's about a 20 minute walk to school and back.

We got up and we were on our way to school.

Australis's POV

I fall off my bed to the sound of my new alarm clock. It's actually really annoying, but at least it gets me up in the morning.

As always, my moms grabs my hands and drags me out of bed. I get up off the floor and actually do something. I take a 10 minute shower, I take 15 minutes to get dressed, and I do my hair all fancy.

"Do you really need to take an hour to get ready?" My dad said.

"I need a good first impression okay?" I said

"What ever you say sweetie." He said.

I go downstairs to eat breakfast, but breakfast is yesterday's dinner. I guess it's not good to waste things. I eat my soup breakfast food and get my lunchbox.

Before I leave the house, I go back up stairs and check the mirror. I still looked perfect as ever.

I got my book bag and I ran back down stairs and rushed into the car.

"Play some Pop music please." I asked

"Okay." Mum said

I may come off as a little diva spoiled brat, but I'm actually not a little diva spoiled brat. I'm actually grateful. *gasps*

The rest of the ride to school I was trying to calm myself down. I guess it's because I was transferring in the middle of the year or something.

Borealis's POV

Got to school and it was 7:35, 25 minutes early.

"Borealis." I turn around and Valorie has book shoved in my face. "LOOK, today we're learning about what causes the northern and southern lights," she said.
