Meowing, followed by hissing, woke the girl up from her slumber. When she opened her eyes, she went to find the source of the noise and she found it. There her cat stood, growling at what seemed to be a pile of her black clothes. "What's wrong Antony? Do you want out? Come here good kitty," she said tiredly.

As soon as the small cat heard her voice, he sprinted across the room to her lap and started trying to hide her, as if he was trying to protect her from something that was in the room. "What are you..." She stopped mid-sentence and noticed that the pile started moving like it was alive and breathing. 'Jesus Christ what is that?!?! It okay (Y/N), calm down,' she thought trying to calm herself down,' I could just be something Antony brought in from outside.' But as soon as she got off her bed and analyzed it quickly, that possibility was ruled out. It was way too big to be a rat, which was the only thing the small tabby can catch and carry.

She stood over the pile, trembling with fear of what, or rather who, was on her floor in the middle of the night under a piece of black fabric."Don't be scared, if anyone were to even try to hurt you, your scream would alarm anyone in the house and Antony will most likely harm them. Right Antony," she asked as she turned to faced the cat. He just starred and eventually moved his head in a nodding motion, which freaked her out.

Then, she lunged for her softball bat the she got the year before and moved the fabric out of the way while raising her bat over her head, ready to hit anyone that was under there. Except for the person who was actually there. A person who she never thought she would she in her life. The one and only, the phantom of the opera, the person she had a crush on for the longest time.
