"Ugh..." I groan. I turn off my alarm. "It's already 7:30?" I mumble. I got out of bed and streched. School...yay... I walk over to my bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. My blonde hair was messy and my ocean blue eyes had bags under them. I splash my face with water and dry it with a towel.
I'm gonna see Sakura and the Sasuke fan girls today. Ugh! Why do I like him! He doesn't even notice me! I look over at my uniform. And we have a stupid uniform. I love today. I was just starting my freshmen year today at high school. I quickly changed and fixed myself up. I look at myself with my uniform and hair down. One word to describe how I looked, stupid. I shoved my hair in two sloppy pig tails. I did look better, but still stupid.
I started to my kitchen and checked the fridge. Nothing. No surprise! I looked at my wallet, $16.73... great. I shoved my wallet back into my bag, guess I can get something from the store at least... I grabbed some stale bread and shoved it in the toaster. I sat around until it popped back up. I grabbed it and my bag and walked out the door. The bread wasn't that good, pretty hard...at least I'll be able to get new food today.
While I was walking to school I passed by Hinata. I shoved the last piece of bread in my mouth and waved at her. She smiled and waved back rushing toward me. "Hi Naru! Are you excited to see Sasuke!" "No not really..." "WHAT!? How!? You haven't seen him in two months, TWO months!" I shrugged. "Sooooo.... still don't care, he doesn't even know I exist for crying out loud! Even if he did know me, he wouldn't care about me." Hinata pouted. She started mumbling a bunch of words as we continued to Konaha High School.
When we entered inside the school Hinata immediately saw Kiba and Shino. She looked at me as I gestured her to go. She frowned a bit, but ran off to Kiba and Shino. I smiled and walked away to my locker. I grab the lock and twist in the password, 627856. I pulled on it. Jammed. Hm, maybe I put in the wrong number? I put in the same code. 627856. Jammed. I surely did it right that time!!! What's wrong!

Crap! I start pulling on the lock trying to open it. I NEED TO GET MY BINDER! I soon give up and start rushing to class. I knew I had one binder in my bag that could probably fit in all the papers and etcetera for now. I found my class room and rushed to a desk. Thank GOODNESS the teacher wasn't there yet. I let out a breath of relief. I look around to see where I sat. WAIT! WHAT! There I was sitting right next to Sasuke Uchiha! WAIT I CAN SWITCH SEATS RIGHT!? I look around the room and saw all the other desk were taken. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY AND WHY! WHY NOW! WHY ON THE FIRST DAY! WHAT IF HE THINKS I'M WIERD! WHAT IF HE THINKS I STALK HIM!
I slowly started panicking slowly clenching a hand full of my hair. "Um...are you okay...?" That could be the teacher! No way Sasuke is talking to me! He doesn't even know I exist for crying out loud! "Y-y-yeah....I'm fine..." I whisper. "You don't look okay..." Next thing I know, there was a warm hand on my forehead. I started blushing immediately. All the Sasuke fan girls stared at me. Sakura clenched her teeth and broke her pencil. "I-I'm fine, honest." He looked at me and looked away smiling. D-DID HE JUST S-SMILE!? AT ME! No, probably one of the other girls....I looked away resting my head on my hand. "When will class just start?" I mumble.

     I grabbed my bag and my papers and crammed them into my bag. I was about to walk out of class until...

*BAM*

I was shoved against the wall. "Tsk, what the hell do you want Sakura?" "TSK! YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT! WHY DID SASUKE TOUCH YOU!" I shrugged, "I don't know." "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY I DON'T KNOW!" I sighed. "I really don't know why. Maybe you should ask Sasuke himself if you want to know." "DON'T ACT ALL INNOCENT NOW NARUKO! I KNOW WHAT YOUR UP TO! YOU'RE GOING TO TRY STEALING MY SASUKE!" She held me by the collar of my uniform.
"Hey leave her alone, she didn't do anything." Sakura looked at the student. "SHE DID EVERYTHING! SHE-- S-S-SASUKE!?" She let go of my collar. I look over at Sasuke. What is he here for now? "What did she 'do' to you?" "Oh...haha Sasuke she did nothing!" "Really? Because all of this didn't look like nothing. Face the truth Sakura, I won't, and never will like you. Specially when you treat people so crappy like this." Sasuke looked at her angrily and grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from them. "CHAAAAAAAAAAA! SCREW THAT FREAKING NARUKO!" I heard faintly. I smiled.
"Why do they do this to you?" I heard Sasuke mumble. "I...I don't know...." He stopped his tracks. "What do you mean you don't know! Don't lie Naruko." I looked at him surprised. "He knows my name? How?" I thought. "Just let go of me. If I don't want to say, I won't say." I walked away swiftly and let out a sigh. "Ughhhhhhh! Why am I so dumb to like him!" I whisper. I then look at the clock. Hm...9:03... next period is about to start. At least I have about 7 minutes to try opening my locker again. I walk over to my locker and try unlocking it again. 627856. It was jammed still. What am I going to do! My textbook is in there! I need it for next period! I try pulling on my locker's handle. Still broken! A couple students pass by me watching me struggle and laugh, "Isn't she one of the new freshmen?" "Yeah pretty sure..." I look at another clock in the hall way, 9:06! Where did time go! C'mon! Can't someone just help me! More students pass by and laugh.
      "Um...do you need help..." "Yes! Please can you- WAIT YOU!" There he was Sasuke asking if I needed help. He rolled his eyes. "Yes, it's me. Now do you want my help or not Naruko?" I blushed. "I-I guess I need your help..." I mumble. "What? I couldn't hear you." "I SAID YES! NOW WILL YOU HELP OR NOT!" He sighed and grabbed the lock put in a random code and opened it. "Happy?" I stood there in annoyance. Can he just  be a bit nicer? Why do I like a jerk? "Thanks...." I mumble. He smirked and walked away. I grab my books and binder I needed earlier. I grab my bag and shove the books and binder in it. Maybe if I have extra money I can get a decent backpack. I rush to class and sit at an empty desk. "Ughhhhhhhhhh.....why can't school just end now..." I whisper.
     "Because the stupid teachers think it's a good opportunity to teach us "education"." I look next to me. "Whyyyy you out of all people......" "I don't know. Maybe because you sat next to me again. "I just chose a random seat ya dummy! Just don't bother me..." Sasuke nodded as the teacher entered the room. "Okay class, I know it's the first day of school, but I want you freshmen to make friends and interact. So, I thought of doing a group project of two. This will get you guys to learn interacting isn't scary." I palmed my face. "Of course! I should've known Mr. Iruka would make us interact with strangers! Who ever my partner is I won't care, they can just buy all the supplies or whatever and I can do the research. I'll have nothing else to do, so might as well just do that." "First pair, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruko Uzumaki!" "WAIT! CRAP! Did I miss hear or something? I CAN'T be with him!
"So you two will be researching about ********** and how it ****** it's ***." Everything was staticky. I wasn't paying attention to Mr.Iruka, I just focused on hoping he didn't say my name and Sasuke's. "The research must be done in the library and not your electronics." I finally snapped back, wait what are we researching!? Sasuke probably knows... I hope he does... "Now I want you guys to go to the library and start." I look over at Sasuke, who is getting ready. I grab my bag and look if I have my things ready. We both start walking out of the classroom as Sakura eyes me.
When we got it of class Sasuke said, "So, what do you want to do?" "How about I sit around and do nothing and you do everything, deal?" Sasuke rolled his eyes. "C'mon Naruko, do something. I'm not going to do a whole project by myself." "Tsk." We walked into the library and set our backpacks and such down at a table. "I'll look for some books or something, and you can write what you think we could do." I nodded and grabbed a note book and pen and plopped it on the table. "Wait! What are we suppose to.... do..." Sasuke was already gone in the large room. "Sigh...Guess I'll do something in the mean time!" I whisper. I start to sketch and jot some things down. I yawned, "How long does it take to find a couple books!"
Sakura and Ino walked into the library laughing and talking. "CRAP! Sasuke lovers one and two! What do I do!!!!" I panicked slowly to myself. I threw the notebook and pen in my bag and zipped it up. I put my head on the table and pretended to sleep. I heard foot steps stop. I heard whispering from Sakura and giggles from Ino. I heard foot steps towards me and stop beside me. "WHAT DO I DO! WHAT DO I DO!" I felt someone nudge my shoulder. "Thief wake up." I pick my head up and look at the two angry girls. "Who do you think you are? Sasuke's girl friend?" I shook my head. "THEN WHY DID HE TAKE YOU EARLIER?! WHAT WERE YOU TWO DOING?!" "Nothing..." I whisper. "You don't know anything! Your so pathetic! I can't even see Sasuke dating you! We all know you like him, so don't hide it, and don't get your hopes up that he'll be your little boy friend. Oh, don't even hope you'll GET a boy friend, a fact is no one in this world likes you, not even your parents. They left you KNOWING how dumb you'd be when you grew up." "Shut up..." I mumble. "Oh my gosh! Sakura! I think the baby finally learned how to speak." "Don't be dumb Ino! The baby doesn't know how to do anything." "I SAID SHUT UP!"
*SLAP*

"Who the hell do you think you are! Sasuke won't love you! No one likes you! How about you go to the place you came from! The world where no one notices you! Oh wait, you are in that world! Sasuke won't like you ever! Now go and cry to your mom. Oops, I just remembered, she left you! Like how Hinata will leave you when she realizes how pathetic you are!" I clenched my teeth and held my tears back. I always lived in this living hell... and no one has been there for me to stop this hell... I'd give up anything to get out of it, out of it....
"Watch what you say." Sakura quickly turned around. "O-o-oh! Sasuke! I didn't mean any of that! Naruko here knows I'm joking, right Naruko!" Sasuke dropped the books on the table and glared at Sakura. "Stop the freaking act Sakura. How do you know I even like you!? No way in hell would that happen! And how do you know who I like and don't like? Maybe I like Naruko, maybe I don't. But no way would I like you, that's what I'll say." Sakura then stared at me angrily and walked away with Ino.

"Did Sasuke say he might like me?"
