Chapter 2

Sasuke smirked when the girls were out of sight. I blushed still thinking about what he said. Does he like me?

{TIME SKIP AFTER SCHOOL}

I put my textbooks back into my locker along with my binders. I grabbed my bag and got my wallet out and zipped my bag back up. I started at the school entrance grabbing some money out of my wallet.
     I clasped the wallet back together and placed it back in my bag and continued toward the store.
     When I got there I grabbed a basket and went to the produce section. I grabbed the things I needed and went to the bag section. "They've got to have some decent backpacks for a couple dollars."

{TIME SKIP BACK HOME}

     I plopped the wrinkled bags onto the counter and grabbed my new backpack. I dumped all the items in my bag into the backpack. I sighed.

"Who the hell do you think you are! Sasuke won't love you! No one likes you! How about you go to the place you came from! The world where no one notices you! Oh wait, you are in that world! Sasuke won't like you ever! Now go and cry to your mom. Oops, I just remembered, she left you! Like how Hinata will leave you when she realizes how pathetic you are!"

I couldn't. I couldn't hold the tears back this time. I cried and covered my face. Sakura's right... My parents did leave me knowing how pathetic would grow up to be... I kept crying and crying... "DAMN EVERYONE!" I punched the wall without thinking. I fell to my knees and continued to act pathetic. "Dammit, why can't I just die... I want to die...''

As a few minutes passed by, I stood up. My bangs fell and covered my eyes. Nobody loves me, no one has...

{FLASH BACK}

My master threw me out onto the concrete. "PATHETIC B*TCH! COME BACK WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF ACTUALLY USEFUL!" He slammed the door behind him furiously. I began to get back onto my feet. "HERE'S YOU OTHER SH*T!" He threw my bag into my face. " Ungrateful jerk, " I mumbled. He then burst outside, " WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU LITTLE *SS?" I grabbed all of my things immediately, " I didn't say anything, sir! Forgive me for whatever you heard, but I didn't say anything!" He slapped me across the face, "SHUT UP YOU LYING B*TCH!" He then shoved me onto the ground and kicked me.

He left me on the ground in pain. I groaned in agony. People passed me just laughing and pointing at me, some even kicked and punched me. When everyone left me I got off of my feet and searched for shelter. I couldn't find anything or anyone, I found an alleyway and slept there. Hours passed by and rain began to come down and pour down onto me. The cold water covered my bruised body. "I hate my life," I mumbled, "why does this have to happen to me? What have I done?" Slowly, I fell asleep on the cold ground.

{END OF FLASH BACK}

I ran to the bathroom and grabbed a knife. "Now, the world will be a better place..." I thought.

*KNOCK*

"Naruko! It's Hinata! I wanted to check on you!"

Dammit, not now Hinata! Just let me be! I hovered the knife over my arm, "Naruko I know you're in there! C'mon! Just let me in!" Why did I hesitate? I don't know, but I did. I dropped the knife and washed my face. I ran to the front and opened the door.

"Wow, see how desperate she was! Thinking that she actually had a friend!" Sakura. "What are you doing here?" Ino shoved me to the ground. "You know what we want! Humiliating us in front of Sasuke. Now, he thinks that we're total jerks!"

I clenched my fist, no one should be treated this way. " We all know you guys are total jerks! It isn't a surprise!" "You little b*tch!" Sakura slapped me across the face. "Let's get out of here Ino! We need to leave the loser alone, so she can actually figure out who the real jerk is!" Everyone is a jerk...

{BACK TO PREVIOUS FLASH BACK}

"Hello, are you okay? Hello? Hello?" I opened my eyes. A little girl about my age was standing in front of me. "Are you okay? It's really cold out here, and you aren't very well covered. My name is Hinata!"

I got up and looked at the girl in her eyes. "I'm Naruko." "You should come to my house! Its warm, cozy, and actually keeps you dry! My family wouldn't mind." That was the first time I smiled and felt loved.
