Early Mornings

After a few weeks, on a Monday morning, Jongdae entered the school. He walked in the hallways that are still so clear since he was early. He always is.

He's never late.

Jongdae lives nearby the school and the early bird within him is always there. He loves being early for the library is already open and peaceful. You might wanna call him a nerd but he just visits the library for WiFi connection.

Jongdae walked straight to the library and sat at the comfortable couch where people usually sleep on. He opened his twitter and stalked his long time crush.

Though he wasn't expecting for the latter to be there. Jongdae was too busy reading his tweets and looking at his pictures that he didn't even notice the boy watching him.

"Hey." The voice startled Jongdae, making him jump a little from the seat and gasp. He looked up and saw Minseok. His one and only crush.

"H-hi." Jongdae replied. "You're pretty early." Minseok commented. "Yeah, you too, hyung." Jongdae replied after a long pause. This is Jongdae's problem. He becomes slow-witted and anxious whenever someone special is talking to him. It's hard for him to recover easily for he's sure he'll end up saying things that he isn't expecting to come out from his mouth.

"Hmm, I'm Kim Minseok." Minseok said putting his hand out for him to shake. Jongdae mentally slap himself a dozen times to stay calm.

Jongdae's hands were shaking though he grabbed Minseok's hand and shook it. His lips were shaking when he was smiling.

"I know who you are, hyung. I'm Kim Jongdae." Jongdae introduced himself. "Your hands are cold, are you okay? Your lips are shaking too." Minseok questioned with concern.

Oh my god! He was eyeing my lips?!???!?!?!  Jongdae thought dreamily.

"Yeah, I'm okay." Jongdae replied with an assuring smile.

"Is the library too cold?" Minseok asked. Jongdae nodded absent-mindedly. Even though the real reason why he was cold was because of Minseok himself.

"Wait here." Minseok said as he approached the in-charge of the library which happened to be Lay.
I'd rather have him cuddle me instead. Geez. Jongdae thought once again.

When Jongdae saw who the library in-charge was, his eyes widened.

"Lay?" Jongdae called as he also approached the two of them.

"Oh, hey Chen!" Lay greeted with a dimpled smile.

"Chen?" Minseok asked with a raised brow. "Yeah, his friends call him Chen." Lay said exaggerating the word 'friends'.

Jongdae must've been expected to be thinking of what's up with Lay but he already knows why. He exaggerated that word because he rejected him a week ago.

"Hmmm. Can I call you Chen?" Minseok asked. Jongdae was about to answer but Lay beats him to it.

"Of course not! You two don't know each other!" Lay said as he crossed his arms and raised his head high like a child. Jongdae wanted to strangle Lay at the moment but he had to go along with the flow.

He faked a laugh and said, "Hyung, Lay here is just messing with you. It's actually okay if you call me Chen."

Jongdae gave Lay a warning glare before looking back at Minseok with a wide smile. Lay had no choice but to force a laugh.

"So, you were cold, Chen?" Lay asked rhetorically then turns up the heat.

"Thanks, Lay." Jongdae and Minseok said in unison. Jongdae blushed, Minseok chuckled, and Lay raised his brows slightly jealous. Actually he isn't slightly jealous, he is JEALOUS.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol are always early in school though they never cross paths with Jongdae in school since they were in different places. Chen will be in the library and ChanBaek will be in the canteen. Baekhyun doesn't really think about going to the library, Chanyeol too.

Every morning they meet in the canteen with no one around them since it is really early. Mornings became Baekhyun and Chanyeol's favorite part of the day for they can spend their time alone with each other.

"Yeol,"

"Baek?"

"You know Do Kyungsoo right?" Baekhyun asked nervously.

"Yeah, we both have the same classes in drama and english." Chanyeol replied cooly. Baekhyun clicked his tongue while fidgeting under the table. The latter seem to notice it and decided to hold his hand.

"Why? What's wrong?" Chanyeol asked in concern.

"Don't go near him." Baekhyun said quietly. His posessive side taking over him once again. His thighs were shaking, fighting the urge to rant.

"Why?" Chanyeol asked as he remembered the time when his friends caught Kyungsoo staring.

"Beca~"

"Chanyeol?! Baekhyun?!" A voice cuts Baekhyun off. Their whole conversation was then forgotten because of a troll slash dinosaur-faced human.

"Chen?" Baekhyun and Chanyeol said in unison.

"I can't believe you two are early. I always thought that it is impossible because the both of you usually text each other all night." Chen commented with his lips pursed.

"I can't believe that you're here too! I know you're an early bird but I never knew you'd come so early in school..." Baekhyun paused and looked at the guy who suddenly appeared behind his bestfriend's back.

"WITH MINSEOK?!" Baekhyun finished, gaping and eyes widening at the sight of the senior hottie behind his bestfriend.

"O-oh. W-we just uhh~"

"Jongdae and I became friends today. I just knew him today, to be honest. I never knew someone would also come by the library for WIFI." Minseok explained with a chuckle making Jongdae blush.

"Ohhhh. Aren't you a lucky one ey?" Baekhyun teased his friend with a wink.

"What do you mean?" Minseok asked obliviously. No one noticed Chanyeol spacing out, thinking about what Baekhyun said about Kyungsoo. Baekhyun laughed and told the latter that it was just nothing at all.

"Oh by the way, I'm Kim Minseok. I'm really sorry for not introducing myself awhile ago." Minseok said raising his hand out for Baekhyun to shake. This caught Chanyeol's attention.

He may be an angel and faithful to his boyfriend but sometimes he had this posessiveness inside him.
"I'm Chanyeol. Nice to meet you." Chanyeol shook the hand before Baekhyun could. Minseok and Baekhyun gave him a questioning look while Jongdae just smirked.

He knows this side of Chanyeol. He knows almost everything around and about his most favorite OTP's.
