Do Kyungsoo

The days before their break up

Chanyeol looked at Do Kyungsoo during their Science class. He was uncertain of the reason why Baekhyun wanted him to stay away from Kyungsoo.

For him, Kyungsoo is a friendly boy in his class. He's always smiling, helping, and listening to everyone.

Even his bestfriend admired him so much. Everyone knows about Jongin's crush on Kyungsoo except Chanyeol,Baekhyun, Krystal,the teachers, and Kyungsoo himself.

Kyungsoo is somewhat close to being a perfect student. He has perfect grades, and a good personality. He's someone who could be compatible with Chanyeol.

While Chanyeol was having trouble fixing his DIY robot, Kyungsoo approached him.

"Let me help you." Kyungsoo offered with a smile that made his lips form a heart shape.

"Oh please do!" Chanyeol coaxed with a slight frustrated groan. Kyungsoo chuckled at Chanyeol's frustrated face. The problem with his robot isn't that hard. He just needed to change its battery. "Thank you so so much! You're a life saver!" Chanyeol praised Kyungsoo.

"No problem, Chanyeol." Kyungsoo replied with a warm smile.

Chanyeol was not able to catch the reason why Baekhyun wanted him to not talk to Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo is friendly, what's up with friendly people? Chanyeol thought.

"Okay class, I have something to give you. But first, group yourselves into two. You can choose freely so that you'll be comfortable with your partner and prompt in passing the performance task." Ms. Kim announced. Almost everyone wanted Kyungsoo as their partner for he is one of the prettiest,smartest, and friendliest boys in the school.

Some people already had their friends as their partner, yet Chanyeol was just sitting there looking at Kyungsoo. He was lost in his thought that he didn't even notice that he was staring at Kyungsoo for so long.

He was thinking about the reason why his lover is against Kyungsoo. He's sure it's something reasonable. He doesn't want to doubt his Baekhyun. He loves Baekhyun so much that he doesn't want to go against him.

Kyungsoo was surrounded by his classmates. He caught Chanyeol's gaze then decided to risk it.

"Hey, Chan." Kyungsoo said, making Chanyeol snap out of his thoughts.

"Yes?" Chanyeol asked. "Uhmmmm. Can you be my partner for this project?" Kyungsoo asked with pleading eyes.

Chanyeol took a peek at his classmates who are asking for Kyungsoo to be their partner.

"How about them? There's lots of them who wanted to be paired with you." Chanyeol said as he pointed at them.

"That's the point. I can't choose. Can you be my partner?" Kyungsoo asked again with pleading eyes. He felt like he was asking Chanyeol out yet he sees this as a practice for future purposes that also involves Chanyeol. Kyungsoo was so nervous. The moment Chanyeol nodded, Kyungsoo felt like he just got Chanyeol to go on a date with him.

He can't help it. He was victorious.
So this is what Baekhyun felt when Chanyeol became his huh? Oh,how I wish this could happen to me! I wish Chanyeol could be mine as well. Kyungsoo dreamily thought.

Kyungsoo sat on the cafeteria table with his bestfriend. He haven't even touched his food because he's been lost in his thoughts whilst smiling.

"Yah! Soo, are you even listening to me?" Jongin snaps Kyungsoo out of his thoughts.

"Eh?" Kyungsoo whispered in response.

"You haven't touched your food and you're smiling the whole time, Soo. It's creeping me out. I mean the smiling part is actually not creepy, it's beautiful, though you being lost in your thoughts is creepy. What happened?" Jongin asked as Kyungsoo bit his lip.

"Don't you dare do lip bites in front of me!" Jongin said as if he was disgusted. But the truth is, Jongin hates being tempted. He wanted to kiss Kyungsoo's red, heart-shaped lips so bad. He wanted to take him then and there but he just couldn't.

Kyungsoo giggled.

"First of all, thank you for your compliment, Nini. Second of all, yes something happened!" Kyungsoo answered with a huge smile on his face. If only that smile was because of me. Jongin thought.

"What happened?" Jongin sounded hopeless yet Kyungsoo wasn't able to notice it.

"Chanyeol and I are partners in a performance task that lasts for a month!" Kyungsoo replied with excitement. Jongin's eyes widened at the sudden news.

"Soo, don't tell me you're planning to take Chanyeol away from Baekhyun?" Jongin exclaimed. Kyungsoo glances at Baekhyun from a few tables away with an evil smirk then looks at Jongin again with a smile.

"Why shouldn't I? Chanyeol is going to be mine. I'll get what I want, Jongin. No one is stopping me." Kyungsoo desperately exclaimed. Jongin sighed, hopeless.

I'm just a friend. Jongin reminded himself.

Jongin ran towards the dance studio with his tears threatening to come out. He saw Amber and approached her.

"Where's Krystal?" Jongin asked, his voice shaky.

"Over there." Amber pointed the dance studio and Jongin thanked her.

Jongin ran once again. He saw Krystal braiding her hair by herself whilst looking at the mirror.

Jongin ran towards her then hugged her back, letting the tears run. Krystal was startled but when she heard Jongin's sobs she started to worry.

"What happened, Jongin-ah?" Krystal asked patting Jongin's head.

Jongin and Krystal are family friends. They became close after Krystal found out that he was gay. Only Krystal knew about his sexuality. In addition, Krystal is bisexual.

"Is it Kyungsoo again?" Krystal asked knowingly. Jongin's sobs got louder at the mention of his name. Krystal sighed.

"You know,Jongin. I've been having strange feelings for you lately. You made me remind myself over and over again that you're gay. You're friggin frustrating!" Krystal confessed. She isn't this type of person. She's never the straightforward type.

But Jongin happened to trigger something inside her. She can't help it. She likes Jongin. Jongin could be gay but his actions are manly.

Jongin took time to process what Krystal just said. He was shook.

"K-Krystal." Jongin said as he lets go of Krystal and looked at her through the mirror. Krystal was now crying. His heart started to ache.

"I'm so~"

"Don't you dare apologize, Jongin. Apologizing means rejection. Nagajuseyo." Krystal said, letting Jongin leave.

"Take your time, Krystal. Take your time." Jongin said as he wiped Krystal's tears then left the room.

Maybe I should give her a chance? Jongin thought.

Chanyeol thought twice about telling Baekhyun. He feels so guilty for going against his lover.

He was again lost in his thoughts. His eyes landed on Lay whose face is so grim. He looked at the direction where Lay was looking then saw Chen.

Chanyeol didn't mind thinking about what's up with them when he saw Baekhyun who was laughing with whatever Chen just told him. Baekhyun is an Angel in Chanyeol's eyes.

He's perfect. Chanyeol loves his flaws. He loves Baekhyun to bits.

Chanyeol had the urge to look at a certain direction then saw Kyungsoo smirking while looking at his Baekhyun. Chanyeol raised his brows, curious.

Yet, he shrugged. He friggin shrugged it off!
