Zayland lays in his huge California king bed made of real wood and detailed carvings, with the finest black silk linens and drifts off to sleep. He usually has odd dreams do to his wondering creative imagination but little did he know, one of the creators would visit him this night to tell him he is the key to the undesirable, unchanging future.
Zayland is finally in a deep sleep where he can freely dream. He opens his eyes in a place he has never seen before where the light is so bright. He is in what seems to be a never ending white room. He stands up wondering where he is. Then approaches one of the creators.
She is tall and lanky. Her skin is gray and yet beautiful. He hair is long and almost white. She looks almost like a Vampire but her blue eyes are bigger than normal and her head slightly larger.
"Who are you? Where am I?" Zayland says in fright.
"Don't you worry my child, soon your life will have meaning." The being said to him with it's powerful voice. "I have a tale to tell you."
Still afraid Zayland just listens.
"You are the one who will change it all."
"Change what?" Zayland demands.
"With love my child." "You are the answer we have been needing. The others can't see it, but I have seen it." The being explained to him the best she could without giving detail. "The other creators plan on making you a student to one day become one of the high vampires, but I have other plans for you." I have intercepted the message given to the high vampires and I am making you a hunter. That is where your story begins." The being explained further.
"I don't understand..." Zayland tried to speak.
"SHHHH, we don't have much time, call on my one true name when the time is right, you will know when that time is." The being said disappearing in to the white light.
"Wait, I don't know your name," Zayland pleaded.
Then a whisper sounds in his ear "Vatalia"
Zayland is suddenly awoken from his deep sleep, breathing heavily. He runs over to his wooden carved desk and grabs a piece of paper to write down the beings name. Thinking to himself if his dream was real or just another fantasy. He hides her name in the back of one of his desk drawers.
Zayland then heads back to bed hoping no one heard him up and about. His thoughts keep him from falling asleep and when the sun finally rises he gets up to begin his day of reading. Now more curious of what his 20th will bring. He didn't care that much before, but now he wants to know if Vatalia was real and if what she said was true.
