Hax was living in a wealthy family. He was blessed with a VIP bungalow with every luxurious things provided. Unfortunately, everything was perished. The diner was his only home since then. He was only twelve yet to experience that, was terrifying. Selena provided him with comfort, home, clothing and food. She was poor, earning a living with her uncle that owned the diner. The diner was our home. She and her uncle decided to take me in. They didn't find me troubling or at stake. They didn't mind having another child of their own although I wasn't their flesh and blood. They took me anyway and I felt saved. I was already losing hope at one point after that incident.

That very night during the incident, I did run into my emergency small lift that actually fitted my size. I was 10 years old back then. It was still traumatizing despite my current age. I was said to be able to overcome my traumatize past but sadly, I didn't.

"Did you remember when we took you in, Hax?" Selena added while wiping my tears.

"Yeah, I was thankful and still am," I smiled reluctantly and had a flashback of my past.

As the man tried to break in the door, Hax quickly opened the closet and slammed the green button at the corner of his dad's closet. Then, behind the closet slowly opened a hidden door to a small lift. He quickly entered the closet n shut the closet. He entered the lift without hesitation slamming the green button. He was feeling so worried sick and petrified. Then, he realized he left his phone on the table. Without it, he had no other ways to contact the cops nor the neighbours. He didn't have any choice but to leave it there as there wasn't much time left.

"Pull yourself up together, Hax. You are gonna get out of here alive" he kept mumbling to himself. He was able to feel his sweat pores from his palms. Then, the lift just brought him down with a high speed . Within seconds, he was already downstairs in the living room. He heard some voices from another room. It was probably in the kitchen.

He slowly walked out from the lift. As soon as he did, the lift shut automatically. He slowly tip toed to the door. As he was doing so, he looked back to see if anyone was following him. He was being cautious but instead, he accidentally bumped into my mom's vase on the corner of the living room near the entrance. That very moment when the vase dropped to the floor, he quickly unlocked the door and ran out. That made his heart pounded even faster.

"The boy isn't upstairs! Is he below with you guys?" The man called through the walkie-talkie. "Are you sure, John? Wait, I think I heard something from the living room," he hung up the phone as soon as he heard a loud crack from the living room "Allen, I go check while you try to get rid of these corpses as quick as possible," John said as he took out his gun from his pocket. John clocked the gun to ready his shot.

Jack was finding something in the parents' room. "Gosh, where is that...," Jack paused as he probably thought that the child already ran off from the house. He checked through the window and his prediction was right. He opened the window.

"Well, thank god for this good silencer," Jack added as he aimed carefully at Hax.

As Hax was running, Hax called for help. The most cumbersome thing was that every neighbours were be quite a distant from each other, so it may take awhile to reach their houses. He heard shots from the ground and turned out that Jack was shooting from my house. He was petrified that he almost lost his balance. Then, Jack's third shot finally got to Hax's leg. Hax screamed to the top of his lungs as he fell to the ground.

Hax held against his injured bloodied leg. He clenched his teeth in pain while dragging himself forward. He kept gasping and running out of breath. He was so afraid of his own blood. Just seeing it drove him insane. He got lost in his thoughts of despair knowing that he might died. Somehow, there was no more gunshots, thankfully. Slowly, he was out of breath. Slowly he breathed in and out, in and out.... he told himself as he repeatedly breathing in and out. He torn his sleeves to stop his bleeding. He just kept going and took his time to actually stand up although it hurt. He finally pulled myself up with the energy left in him.

He had walked for quite some time and finally reached to one of the houses. He called for help but nobody answered. He kept calling and calling till he was exhausted. He was bleeding excessively due to the dragged against the rocky road. It was midnight. Of course, everyone was asleep and it was difficult to get to them. Then, a young, average height girl with slim figure in a A-line light blue skirt with a formal white T-shirt, approached him. She was holding groceries in the plastic bags. He guessed she went to the 24 hours supermarket store nearby.

"Oh god, you are gonna be okay. What happened?" She asked while calling the ambulance and the police.

"There is a few men that broke into my house and ...my parents, please save them. I don't know what happened to them. Please, I beg you...," he pleaded with his last breath. Then , he fainted. The last thing he saw was her panicking and everything just went pitch black.
