I would have never expected that something so.... strange would happen to me, i always thought i was just a normal girl.
High School Graduate,
Part Time job at food company,
Parents that neglect me,
Apartment in the city.

I just cant believe that of all the people in the world, I was the mate of a wolf.

This morning I woke up to the very annoying beeping alarm of my neighbour... Again.
Coincidence it goes off whenever I've had a night shift the day before.

"Are You Kidding." I shouted stuffing my head in my pillow.

"Well looks like someones in a cranky mood this morning"
I lifted my head to see my best friend smirking at me while leaning on my bedroom door frame.

"Oh Shut up Lauren." I was definitely not in a good mood.

"Hey... I was just coming in to ask if you wanted to go for lunch?" She addressed, her arms still firmly crossed across her gorgeous bright flower sundress. Her blonde hair falling over her shoulders her pink lips pressed together in a now neutral expression.

"Sorry Lauren, it's just their alarm always wakes me up" i sat up rubbing my hands over my face
"Oh and Yea sure i can go to Lunch, it's not like I had any plans". I honestly didn't, since I don't have work today I was just going to lay around and maybe have a movie marathon,
"Haha, its okay Lani. Their alarm drives me crazy as well." she laughed turning away from my room and walking off.

Watching her depart i dropped back into my pillow
"Maybe i could catch up on my sleep"

Although after about ten more failed attempts to fall back to sleep in my comfortable bed I decided it just wasn't going to work.
I yawned before sitting up and stretching.
I then dragged myself to the shower, only quickly washing shampoo through my sandy blonde hair. Allowing the hot water to run down my back, making my muscles relax, causing me to slowly awaken.

After washing my hair I quickly shaved my legs and washed before i turned off the taps, and rapped a fluffy white towel around my body before walking into my wardrobe.
I could tell today would be quite warm, so I grabbed a simple black singlet and a pair of khaki green shorts.
I knew i was going out later so i decided i would put on a little makeup before i left.

then started to skip with intention to go to the kitchen to make some late-ish breakfast.

After a bowl of fruit loops and a slice of toast, Lauren and i agreed on meeting with a few other friends at our favourite restaurant, Puddle, at around half past 1
"Okay, so I gotta get going to work, I'll see you at 1:30 ish." Lauren smiled grabbing her keys and purse from the bench

"Awe bummer you have to work, yeah I'll see you there"

Now I've known Lauren pretty much my whole life, since year two in fact, she is a natural at playing piano and she is no kidding one of the most gorgeous people i have ever met.
I have no idea what her job is but i know she's always 'working', but whenever I ask about what she does, she just starts jabbering on about how boring it is, and how she doesn't want me to be all bored about how much it sucks, and how her boss is a tight-ass.
So i have narrowed it down to
A spy
A subway restaurant worker
Or a mass murderer
But whatever.

After she had left I plonked my butt down onto our couch and clicked on some random show that was playing.
My mind distracting me from the show presented on the tv hanging off the wall.
My main thoughts about how good it's going to be seeing everyone again.
